I think that's only cos you don't notice at much in the daylight. There's plenty for the headliners if you're near enough the stage where they'd be any use. People even video the screens FFS. Filming the film.

You may as well take footage of the TV footage you've recorded when you get home.

Highly amused at Reading a couple of years back seeing this and then the iPad being knocked cleam out of their hands by a full pint of lager/cider. To be fair though they didn't kick up a stink, must have known they deserved it.

Food definitely wasn't as good last year, and the Blue Moon was gone, which I was devastated about, their potato wedges sustained me in 2011.

The mac and cheese place near the pyramid field was amazing though.

The strawberries and clotted cream stall still does a good trade.

You can always find a lot of hipsters flocking around the "tea and toast" type places too.

The site is bigger. The fence is well south of the Stone Circle now.

There's new concrete steps at Bella's Bridge, which is definitely an improvement (and if anyone spray tags it again there will be some country-style retribution this time. Reminds of the occasion when Ann Goode's crucifix [allegedly] got chainsawed and a pig's head was impaled on the stump.........but I digress)

Mik Artistik plays even more gigs now, last year he performed 15 times. FIFTEEN TIMES, I said. By extrapolation, in a few years time he will actually be the Festival.

Jazz World is now called West Holts for reasons that escape me.

The Italian coffee van in West Holts run by real Italians isn't there no more.

Blazin Saddles is gone, Cabaret Tent is there now and there's a smallish stage back-to-back with the Hurly Burly. Mundo Jazz play there every night now

There's more offsite camping at Tangerine Fields than ever...anyone camping there should watch out for a green Landrover Discovery when walking back to site of an evening....it [ALLEGEDLY] tends not to stop, slow down, or swerve outta the way...

The Fire Stage peeps are a bit disorientated

EDIT: Strummerville Cafe gone. Not allowed to sell food and hot drinks due to some Health & Safety voodoo. Maybe sorted this year ?

For me the biggest change is the SE corner, I just think it's lost its edge a lot. You now have to queue up to get in, in 2010 you could just walk in, albeit it was always rammed then. Now it seems more of a tourist attraction and I find myself just walking through and walking out again if I do endure the queuing system (saying that 2013 was better than 2011 when you had to follow a long trail to get there and join the queue)

Still brilliant though, there's still great music there if you hunt for it, in 2013 I thought it was a great festival for music, not least because I spent a lot of time before the festival doing my homework on the line up and finding great bands

I think the camping areas have been a lot better for me, because I have found the best camp site I have ever found at Glasto, and there's always plenty of space when we arrive on Thursday, and it's right close to the action

Lots more laughing gas around these days, even compared to 2010, horrible stuff

i'll tell you what hasn't changed since 2010. the Wednesday of the festival for me... always try and break myself in to the week at a moderate pace yet every year end up in bed by 11 because I'm "tired"

Not always - there were security peeps down the end of Dragon's where it enters the venues - however, there is a way of fooling them....

Interesting to see all the comments about the food getting worse, I thought it was only me who felt like that.

I thought there was some cracking stalls last year.

I thought there were some much more daggy ones than there's been in previous years - especially in that "food court" bit. Some of the stalls there were terrible, particularly as it was suggested to be the good bit.

Don't think that food court experiment really worked last year - nice idea though just seemed less than popular whenever I passed it. Perhaps the wrong place for it? Might benefit from some sort of outdoor bandstand type thing in the centre of it to liven it up.

There's some lovely food around the Greenpeace area. Brains numb, can't remember what that area is called for the minute!

last year was the first festival since the longstanding (20+ years) markets manager retired - tho having randomly bumped into him in Bristol fairly recently I know he still has an occasional consultancy role for Michael.

Although he's no longer working for Glasto very much, he's still keeping his hand in running the markets for (I think) 6 other major festivals - which apparently works much better for him as he doesn't have the time impact of travelling to Glastonbury every day.

I have been told, but I can't remember if it's a fella or a stella. I'm pretty sure they're someone who's got experience of the Glasto markets tho.

It's probably more the case that they're trying to put their own stamp on things than anything else, by trying to do some different things.

*Most* of the more iconic places are still in situ, right. Yer Thali Cafe's and Grand Bouffe's and Shaken Udders and Tor Rugby Clubs and so on.

I didn't notice too much of a change last year - though some fairly over-long queues at a number of places did put me off eating anything between Saturday lunchtime and Monday morning.

Won't make that mistake again.
