HMMM same weekend as Soni, so I wonder how well this would sell.

Hope it's the 13th, then I'll have Sonisphere, a few days to recover, Pearl Jam at Milton Keynes, then Sabbath on the Sunday!

If it is the 4th then I will be one of those people missing Prodigy.

If Sabbath are doing Hyde Park on the Friday of Soni that would be an organisationsl balls-up of hilarious proportions.

Their last tour though, I'm considering ditching Soni. Maybe they'll rock up at Glasto instead of Metallica the week before and make my life easier!

Bun Frank Turner.

Has someone said it's that? I think that thing about "To mark the start of British Summer Time..." might have been taken in the wrong way as the announcement is to mark the start of British Summer Time (clocks going forward), not necessarily to mark the start of the festival. Clashing with Sonisphere would be dumb, plus 13th would make sense, and that's a Sabbath, and I'd rather it not be a Friday so I'll hope for that. :P

I don't think the footy match matters but you appear to be right. Horrendous move by BST there. I'd be surprised if Prince played, personally, but it's possible.

EDIT: Shit I only just saw that "4th of July" tracklisting picture. Soundgarden's happening then!

Sabbath, Soundgarden, Motorhead and Faith No More.

FUCKING HELL.

EDIT: also, seemingly missing from the eFests article, Wolfmother, The Bots, The Graveltones, Hang the Bastard, Blitz Kids, The First and, er, The Struts. Tickets on sale 9am Friday.

WHAT.A.LINEUP - Gonna try my best to do this! So chuffed with Faith No More too, completely unexpected!

I wouldn't assume so. Sonisphere has dragged a lot of its audience away, plus there are a lot of tickets to shift for this. I'm hoping it holds out until the end of the month, even then I dunno if I can go but god damn it's awesome.

I can take or leave Sabbath these days, but Soundgarden, Faith No More and Wolfmother have got me very excited. Cracking lineup.
