dentalplan
Fair enough. Are Wolfmother actually playing? The poster Soundgarden shared had them but they seem to be missing from everything else posted including the official site.

dentalplan
They are on the official site http://www.bst-hydepark.com/music-12013-highlights/headline-acts-announced-1 There are two posters going round- one with Wolfmother on, the other without them & 'special guests' listed to headline one of the other stages
mattgimmeshelter
Yeah I highly reckon foos and coldplay are likely. Both have albums/new material and seem to be doing fuck all right now. + they are both absent from festivals this year.
kipper64
Proper raging this clashes with Sonisphere on the Sabbath date. Adore Faith No More but will have to miss out. Hopefully they do their own shows around that time.
the wonderwhy
I see. Also, I thought Faith No More were the special guests. It says on that link they are. Edited March 30, 2014 by MattDavies__
kipper64
I assumed it was stating FNM (and possibly Soundgarden) were "special guests" as they have their logo next to their name.

dentalplan
I wonder how well attended those other stages will be.
the wonderwhy
I'd love to see Bo Ningen but they'll undoubtably clash with Soundgarden/Faith No More. The changeovers for Rolling Stones last year were 45 mins each on the main stage, so might work out that the bands on the other stages are largely on during those gaps? Babyquack
Is there anything special about these 'British Summertime' gigs? Or is it just like any other gig in Hyde Park? I can't make it to the Black Sabbath one (tbh, I'm not a big fan anyway) but really want to go to Neil Young the following saturday!
kipper64
Check the Barclaycard Theatre stage

Babyquack
More stages and a few more (expensive) food stalls/funfair rides/crap but other than that, no. (I haven't been actually, just going by whats on the internetz)
the wonderwhy
Reckon Faith No More are 'special guests' as they were main support before Soundgarden became available again?
mattgimmeshelter
I'm really tempted to actually go to one this year if a lineup comes out that really grabs me! As much as people talk shit about them if the foos do one i'm there

mattgimmeshelter
Do people talk loads of shit about them? I thought they were regarded as a superb live act? And IF they do play, I'm there too
Ipayne
I think they are probably the best live band i've ever seen, but that's circumscribed as there are a few bands i'm yet to see. I think it's because (as much as I like them) their stuff is pretty bland, they have a few belters but casually I find it hard to listen. It's strange, I like them so much but their stuff sometimes bores me. However i'd jump to see them live at any opportunity!
