So Pendulum are making a new album next year. What do you think the chances of them headlining the Other stage?

I know Rob Swire said they might not be playing live shows but they're doing DJ set atm so there's always the possibility they will.

Son is a huge Pendulum fan and it would make his festival if they played

I'd be happy with both tbh. Maybe Prodigy could headline the Other stage then pendulum could do a DJ set on the arcadia? Maybe knife party could headline the arcadia!

Swire said they wont be playing, so just based on that I doubt they will. A DJ set is always possible, but we won't be seeing them live for a while.

oh god they're reforming / regrouping / whatever already? thought we'd seen the back of them for a good while. although still seems unlikely that they'll be performing live any time soon, so that's good

Can never understand why anyone would want to see a DJ set from a 'live' act to be honest. Might as well be anyone behind the decks?

Thought they were great in 2011 thinking it was a mixed crowed for them, I was at the front and was a lot of 14 year old girls waiting for Beyonce, Other Headliner would be awesome.

and yeah the Pendulum DJ sets are a totally different to them Live, its just one of the DJing under the Pendulum name

whenever / if they do regroup and start performing live again they probably will headline Other, but hopefully not next year. too soon, and they're still far too recent in my memory of 'bands i really really hate'

can't think of a more less-deserving act to have gotten the Sunday penultimate slot on the Pyramid. (well, Kaiser Chiefs being placed above the Manics and before The Who comes to mind). Pendulum into Beyonce, what a dreadful way to end a weekend on the glorious Pyramid stage.
