i was just trying to make a point which i had a thought about, dont bite my head off.

Unfortunately for you it's a point that's been discussed to death by people who refused to believe it had absolutely no relevance whatsoever. Don't take it personally.

I bump into doug from Peace and Dom and Ryan from superfood in a bar in Birmingham sometimes, I live in coventry so this is a good as it gets for me :(

Actually I like both bands so pretty good actually

Have you ever seen The Enemy around? If so did you pin that ugly runt of a frontman to the floor and take a massive steaming shit on his ratty face?

Deftones are playing Around The Fur in full at Rockfest in Canada at the start of June, 1. positive they are touring, 2. Can you please bring that to the UK it would be fucking incredible

Couple of interesting bands on it not to mention the already announced Refused

Tenacious D, The Offspring, Pixies, would take any of them (straws)

Metallica

Pixies

Royal Blood

Deadmau5

Peace

The Libertines

The Vaccines

Jamie T

Rebel Sound (Closing set)

The Offspring

Init.

All of a sudden looks a good prospect, Deftones headlining the tent would be different gravy, especially if they are playing Around The Fur

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
