HAIM are supporting Taylor Swift over in America and although none of the dates actually fall on R&L weekend they're playing LA or something two days before so I guess that probably rules them out.

IIRC they've said they're fucking off from these shores for a bit until album two is ready/out anyway. Probably certainties for a high main stage slot next year though.

Nah, I'd say Rammstein are too big to sub and why would you want them to sub? It would be far better if they headline and brought all of their stage show with them as what is the point of seeing Rammstein live if you don't get to see a shit ton of pyrotechnics

Of course ideally I'd love to see them headline but I think they'd be a unpopular booking for the majority of R&l goers (unless they actually saw them, when they'd realise their shows are fucking unreal), hence why I think they'd sub.

But I reckon they wouldn't take a sub slot and if they did there show would be really poor in comparison

We aren't sure that Libs will be headlining though. We knew the only position Arctic Monkeys would play was headline.

They're not gonna headline T and sub R&L. Also Neil said the initial info about them said they're headlining.

Would be nice if he came in and said whether the TBC info was about them headlining or just playing.

Exactly, theyre TBC on eFests however were not 100% sure if theyre headlining or just playing. Plus we don't really know any other bands besides Peace who are very very likely to be announced.

We know they're headlining, there has been multiple sources saying that they are and we have good reason to believe they're headlining and I'd say we knew less about other bands playing last year than we do this year.

Just as a side point, if Peace sub the NME as many of us appear to think they will, their slots for 13-14-15 will be the same as Enter Shikari for 08-09-10. Expect to see them third on the mainstage in 2019 :)

But enter shikari haven't played 3rd yet? They were 4th last year

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
