12pm cut off tommorow for the prediction game.

when was the last time we had so little idea who the announcement would be? I remember in both 2013 and 2012 (and i think 2011?) we knew the headliner... even if some didn't believe it.

Obviously it might well be Linkin Park and we can say oh we had some idea!

Tour finishes tonight so seems the best time to announce them, and they're probably the most rumoured headliner so far.

Ahh fair enough I thought that was the case, just thought it was being implied that the 01:03:30:00 was a reference to them in some way aha, but yeah I agree with that tbf although it would be great if a headliner came and surprised us all :ninja:

Couple of things:

1. Anyone think they'll go with a heavier headliner to stop some potential punters buying DL tickets instead of R&L?

2. Anyone think that, like in 2013, they'll go with a mostly heavy announcement to couple with a heavy-ish headliner (and again because of the DL thing)?

3. Fucking hell they surely won't go with FOB below Linkin Park after DL last year, will they?

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
