I rekcon the FOOS have got to headline next year I cant see them not doing it - therefore that leaves 2 other headliner spots - could Bombay Bicycle Club make it up to sub headliner status on the mainstage, after there slot this year they deserve it. I think Mumford will headline next year if they organise there next album well and that leaves on more headliner status, could reading finally bring a DJ to headline?? Chase and status? Calvin?

surprised about that. agree that it is far too soon (especially since they've already 'headlined again too soon' before with 2002 and 2005). wouldn't want the Foos to become Reading/Leeds' house band. i think they can miss out headlining for at least one album tour and then come back next time round

You've missed the boat there pal

they're not doing too badly... they definitely aren't The Killers / Kasabian / Kings Of Leon at V Festival (yet), anyway. but headlining again next year would definitely push them there and be a very uninspired booking (although a big ticket seller, and i doubt many would complain)

Same here, now fully expecting him not to turn up.

What time were they on stage?

Honestly, after seeing him barely able to stand with Babyshambles last year, I never expected him to be as good as he was last night. The whole band sounded really tight. They came on at about 9:15pm, after showing a 10 minute film about them. I left after What a Waster which was their second to last song and that was about 10.45pm.
