I think man utd may get some good players. However, wether they will be good enough to get them.back into Europe os another matter. They could do a spurs!

they'll get some very good players, I'm sure. I've said as much above.

But the point is the players they'll get won't be the best that might otherwise be available to them, and that will make bouncing back into a top 4 position all the harder.

After all, if any of the teams above them think that a player Utd are after might knock them out of their own top 4 spot, they'll try and stop Utd getting that player by buying them themselves - in much the way that seemingly both Spurs and Chelsea went in for every player Liverpool were after.

It's not simply the case (as some rather dumbly seem to think) that Utd can just sit there and say "we're Man Utd, the best players will flock to us". They just won't!

It's a competition, remember? Utd are in competition with other clubs for players, and the rules of the game are not in Utd's favour.

But luckily for Chelsea they had a squad stuffed full of some of the best players in the world (and half-owning half of the south Americans that play in Europe helps a lot!).

Utd have a squad that is threadbare, that can't see them thru any bad times. It's about as bad as it could possibly be for Utd.

Look like Sunderland are staying in the premier league  cant say im pleased with that TBH... So fed up with losing and being shit... if we are willing to spend that great if not then another hard season is in the offing :(

Been to every premier league ground now so i don't think im going to bother with away games next season (other then in the cups) so at least that's a money saver :D

Crawley game wasn't the worst I've ever seen but it certainly wasn't good. They looked like a side who had nothing to play for. Carlisle huffed and puffed but showed tonight why the result relegated them.

First time I've seen John Gregory in a looooong time.

That's 76/92 current league grounds done :) (I think, might have to check that, keep forgetting what with all the lower league clubs getting new grounds)

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
