Woppa
Going for the first time. I am terrified that the people at the gates will say "that's not you", when looking at the picture on my ticket. Another fear is that I will not find a good camping spot. Actually looking forward to and enjoying the event will happen after those things are taken care of ^^
Bathimp
Every year is a first time. Its always different and always a surprise. Thats why we keep coming back.

whisty
haha very excited I try not to compare because i know they are all so different. At the moment my favourite has to be Bestival, the most weird yet wonderful festival.
Anarion
WHerever you camp is a good spot. Chat to your neighbours. Find the nearest and/or least stinky bogs, and your nearest tea/coffee outlet for the mornings. Then, go and have a wander round the rest of the site. Enjoy it. You only get one first time

Kizzie
Gawd knows how many times I've been, I voted 15 to 20. Funnily enough just the other day I was telling the kids how the first time I went I camped by the tree in the Pyramid field, surrounded by lots of space, not many people wanted to camp that far up the field. Jadey
I stewarded Bestival last year, in part to make up for no Glastonbury. Quite liked it but have a feeling Glastonbury will knock your wellies off
Jadey
She won't be in wellies, they'll not be needed! 15th for me this time, 95 was my first and I've not missed one since.
pie_and_a_pint
This one will be number 8 and counting. I foolishly didn't think I'd 'like' Glastonbury, and was eventually convinced by my now-husband (who had been to Reading but nowhere else) that we should try it as a 'life experience' in 2003... To say I fell in love with the festival was an understatement and I've been to every festival since (bar 2004, which was was a disaster in terms of ticket buying, and I didn't know about things like volunteering and working in those days)

Kyle the Sink
Cheers everyone for voting on my poorly titled, optioned and generally shoddy poll. Good to see how many ''newbies'' are actually going. When we (me and Mrs Sink) looked at going to Glastonbury we were worried it was going to be a big boys club but the more and more we read threads on here the more we are looking forward to it

AnnaGrant
This will be my 5th over a period of 21 years. Bit regretful over the missed ones during that period, but life sometimes gets in the way a bit. Mended my ways now and hope to keep attending for some time to come. mandolin
My first Glasto was 2010. The 2009 line up was my idea of heaven but obviously I didn't know the line up when the tickets went on sale and had previously decided that I was too old/boring/busy/whatever to go to Glastonbury. My very lovely daughter was there and went to acts she knew I'd love, once or twice missing acts she'd rather see. Every time, she phoned me and held her phone up to the speakers and crowd so that I could be part of it. Then I went in 2010 and completely fell in love. As far as I'm concerned, that particular daughter has got her tickets paid for for as long as I am fortunate enough to be able to afford them and lucky enough to get them. And I will attend each and every one of those years too.
RichieSpenno
Mine and my mate's 4th on the bounce. Fiancé's 3rd. Also bringing along a '2nd timer' and three newbies!
Mistress Jones
This will be my first Glastonbury but I'm going with hubby who has been before and our married friends and baby who are old hats at it. So excited! I have wanted to go for years.
