I've put down 80% confident of getting a ticket because I've been told by someone that they can get me a hospitality ticket. This means if I try on T Day and fail then there's the further chance via the hospitality side (which may or may not come off).

I'm always terrified on ticket day but realistically speaking I'm somewhat confident. You never can tell though so I don't want to jinx it or anything.

Pessimism breeds negativity and negativity promotes decreased productivity. You have as good a chance as anyone out there who is trying. I'm 100% sure I'll get a ticket for Glastonbury 2013. No doubt.

Last year was my first time, and I was perhaps 101% confident about getting tickets...kept thinking, hey, it can't be THAT hard, eh?..little did I know! Managed to get tickets for the resale, but the wait was agony.

I have too get tickets the last time i tried......and succeeded thanks to this website (when it had stopped crashing itself)...... was 2004 at about 10am the next day after being up all night on 2 computers and whilst the family was awake 4 phones lol.......someone posted a (backdoor) link on here and i was so scared in case the had just nicked all my money as at the time you had to pay for your tickets in one go no deposit.......but i trusted the poster and just bit the bullet and thank god it paid off and i had one of the best weekends ever.......havent been able to afford it since and really cant this year but hey ho c'est la vie lol

In a scared mood that I won;t get them. It's the first time I have got tickets- all the other times someone has got them for me - feeling the pressure - eek cannot imagine what it will feel like not to get them.

Always managed...even the year we were the only couple that didnt get them....then we won tickets. this year we're planning on working...but will be in the scrum like everyone else just in case that doesnt work.....

i am getting nervous now! Started going in 2009, was succesful again in 2010 and 2011. 2009 and 2010 were dead easy but 2011 was difficult, i never got through but my mate did and got tickets for his family plus 3 of us, my nephews mate got through and got the others.Eight of us going in 2013, we hope, and we will have plenty of screens on 4 different urls with a chance to get through, all networked on the phone to each other. Lets hope its enough, it only takes one!

My recollections of previous T-Days.

2004. Spent from 8pm on the Thursday evening till 10am Friday morning trying to get through...finally did...seem to recall getting 'through' and a few times the site crashing on me.

2005 Got straight through for me and another mate after 5 mins...no one else I knew got through..phone line and website swamped, sold out in 3 1/2 hrs...ended up just the two of us going from our town (camped with some other friends of mine from London when we got down there )

2007. Couldn't get through for shit on my home PC, mate of mine got through and booked mine when he got his...he kept clicking back and got through loads, got over 20 tickets in the end.

2008. Straight through no problems....was in work that day and it was snowing outside in April! - Everyone got them that year as it didn't sell out until the festival started.

2009. Got through fairly quickly (within 30 mins) - seem to recall that one not selling out straight away either.

2010 Again, I got through reasonably quickly, and booked my tickets..but some mates had real issues and had to rely on resales.

2011. Couldn't get through at all....girl I know got through via her iPhone and booked mine for me...then like in 2007 she was getting through loads and loads and booked about 20 tickets in total.

2013 ?????

Said it before and will say it again. In my years of going, no one who has genuinly wanted to go has missed out. Whether through battering ram on T-day, or help via another person using the "back" trick on the sale page, or in the resale(s), everyone has managed to go.

I'm really not too worried. There are about 60 of us going to be trying for tickets on Sunday and we have split into groups of 8 but everyone has a list of each group and the registration numbers. Last time there was a bit of a mare as mine and one others accidently got missed due to the person buying them having had a very heavy night the night before but a friend of a friend (who she hasn't spoken to for years) asked on Facebook if anyone was still looking and got mine. We'll all be on Facebook on Sunday trying to help friends and friends of friends if anybody gets through. I've managed to get people tickets in the resales including the very final one last year. Positive mental attitude!!!!
