Metallica managed to pull off a secret set in the tent at Download in '03 without deaths so i'm sure Greenday could play the NME tent at Reading. And as gutted as i am that it seems Leeds isn't going to get them, maybe this will stop some of the 'Leeds get everything!' whinging lol.

what's the chances that Green Day could appear on the main stage after Paramore

none at all with what is lined up currently. This post might change that.

I guarantee, 100%, that Green Day are currently lined up to play the NME tent at Reading on Saturday afternoon. They're NOT playing Leeds.

Now, who wants to restart the "Reading is better than Leeds" argument? :P

Probably will tbh, I can't decide if a band the size of Green Day agreeing to do an early and short set on the second stage is the kind of band who would just be there for promotion purposes for an album that only has two singles so far. Are there set-lists floating around from the secret shows they have done in Japan and America floating around anywhere?
