Jesus fucking Christ, a logical band to follow Paramore? There's 95 minutes between Paramore starting and The Cure starting. Is that enough time for Paramore to play their set, for Green Day to set up, Green Day to play their set and then for The Cure to set up? No of course not.

As far as im aware the timing for them was never put up. It mightv been straight off and the dude doing the clashfinder saw it as 11.4, dunno. I guessed 11.50 same as FOTL the day before. Itl be around tht time, but its guess work.

Metallica managed to pull off a secret set in the tent at Download in '03 without deaths so i'm sure Greenday could play the NME tent at Reading. And as gutted as i am that it seems Leeds isn't going to get them, maybe this will stop some of the 'Leeds get everything!' whinging lol.

I guarantee, 100%, that Green Day are currently lined up to play the NME tent at Reading on Saturday afternoon. They're NOT playing Leeds.

Probably will tbh, I can't decide if a band the size of Green Day agreeing to do an early and short set on the second stage is the kind of band who would just be there for promotion purposes for an album that only has two singles so far. Are there set-lists floating around from the secret shows they have done in Japan and America floating around anywhere?
