Green Day UK tour?

Any Green Day set is a very welcome bonus, new or old material! Better than some obscure filler band that normally plays at that time. Just hope this actually happens now!

I think it all went down after warning really for Green day! Still there a band i grew up with and have to see, insomniac was always my favourite Green day album

They headlined reading and Leeds during their supposed slump.

Basically in between warning and American idiot. Around the time of international superhits.

There's always been a demand for them.

Yeah they played end of august. American idiot wasn't released until October. The single American idiot was the only thing they played off that album. And I'm guessing when they were booked it hadn't even been written.

I've had what should be 100% accurate info*....

And that has told me that GD will be playing the NME tent at Reading on Saturday, and that GD will not be playing at Leeds.

It didn't include a time, unfortunately.

Listening too. Would be amazing, but incredibly unlikely this year. If they headlined next year, though...or maybe the year after, 20th anniversary of Dookie after all.

I think its all being over-hyped though, I think it will just be the expected 4 songs still.

It should be on iPlayer in an hour or two, then people can make their own minds up from what they said. Without any information other than what they said on Radio 1 there is no way I would say with any amount of certainty that they're doing Dookie in full. Of course, the NME may have other info.

also, we're all assuming the clashfinder is 100% right on that set. we don't know the exact times. on Friday when the press sheets go out we'll know for sure.
