Chili Peppers are literally the worst headline set me and many, many others have ever seen at a festival. They had a poor setlist, pissed about with jams the entire time, an attitude of they just didn't want to be there aswell as no effort put in, a completely dead atmosphere after 5mins and so on. It's slated for a reason.

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/red-hot-chili-peppers/2007/little-johns-farm-reading-england-5bd38f38.html How you can called that setlist bad, I'll never know. Pissing about with jams is cool, and RHCP are a funky band so I wouldn't expect anything less-it just adds to the performance, otherwise their set would sound like it's come straight off the record. When I see a band live, personally, I want it to sound a bit different from the record. Whilst I'd agree that it's shit when bands don't put the effort in; I don't see anything wrong with their 2007 performance- apart from the sound being bloody awful. But that's not their fault and might explain why it sounds bad. One of my mates saw them last year with Dizzee Rascal supporting and said it was amazing, so they've probably worked on their live performance. And it sold out. I think they'd be a great booking.

There is testimony to show they were shite at both sites though, which rarely happens (arctic monkeys cough).

I'm sure last year you could buy tickets for some of the stadium shows the week leading up to it for like £1 (or was it £5)

Ahh ok i see it now, apologies

On another note, where do people think he'll play? There was some discussion on another thread

In my opinion he is definitely a sub, too big for third now

There was a debate over whether he would sub Eminem, i think it would work well but a couple of people thought they would split the rap demographic a bit more and have him subbing biffy

    • Had a lovely day in Prague now off to the festival. Very excited hope we all have fun regardless of weather!!
    • Iran are winning. If US aren't going to do the full invasion thing, then they may as well admit defeat and do what is needed to get the strait opened. Iran obviously have decided they can take any pain and stick it out as they have all the cards with this Hormuz thing. But obviously Trump can't admit defeat, and Israel just want this to keep going...and maybe it will carry on like this till after elections in both US and Israel towards the end of this year. God knows how the global economy will be by then.
    • All kicking off in N Ireland, all aided and abetted on videos that get circulated on social media and Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson telling people to take to the streets. Social media needs regulating same as publishers, if they have algorithms that push whatever to people then they are effectively publishers anyway. The problem is just going to get worse and worse.
    • A lot of acts put him up on their Insta seems to have touched a lot of hearts across the industry, didnt know too much about him but read a bit now seems like great guy
