What rules them out (other than the Glasto argument) is that SOAD wouldn't sub to them, it'd be one of the oddest bookings in the festivals history.

I know Reading and Leeds don't share headliners because of their exclusivity thing, but what if the new booker has safely secured that for Biffy & Eminem, and decided to go for Arctic Monkeys as they would be a huge draw regardless of them playing Glastonbury? Who knows!

Just noticed that Sound City Players album comes out the day after Reading announcement and this isn't even funny anymore I wanna see them again.

I totally agree with all you guys that it's highly unlikely and they are almost 100% playing Glasto. I don't know, it's just irritating me a bit, don't get why stereoboard would post it, they usually have pretty strong sources

I personally would love Nickelback to be the 3rd announced, they're such a great band and they're everyone's 'secret love' shall we say? Everyone states they hate them, but they do actually love them! Would be a fantastic booking if you ask me!
