It was an all round piece that if the bands mentioned did all play really.

But if NIN were subbing Biffy then yes, it stops Dizzee obviously as I saw him on a different day to a what people might half expect in Eminem and Example covering two of the top 3.

But also, I saw Pheonix, if playing, being booked for a sub NME slot, but not same time as NIN on main.

Thing is, we know for certain that Foals, Bmth, Deftones, FOB and probably Dizzee now with the likeliness of NIN looking moreso and people starting to expect Example to play with Bloc Party expected to take a lot as well. All with a new booker with know one having a clue how he's thinking.

I don't know but the thing is Dizzee and even Example I'd see as unlikely to play Eminem day (isn't that the only day Example can play?) because of them wanting to vary things to not detract too much from a three day 1xtra stage. If it was two day then I'd half expect it but I don't see it.

Phoenix subbing NME at the same time as NIN on main is definitely possible, I don't see why it wouldn't be, did you mean subbing NME while NIN are headlining it? I think Luckysalt said NIN were headlining NME on Sunday but if people think that it might be wrong to ease fears of a clash, then I don't know why they don't suggest NIN to headline NME against Eminem on the other day.

Also, where did the NIN subbing info come from? I haven't heard this one. And isn't the new booker a woman?

I don't see one of them as that unlikely but two of them, but that maybe wrong. I just think there is way more R&L style acts out there.

To be honest with the NIN and Pheonix thing, I kinda saw them both as not really main crowd R&L fest acts - maybe I'm wrong with Pheonix? That's why I thought clashing may not give enough alternative. That was my reason but if I'm wrong on it then discount it.

NIN sub info came after from the guy who 1st said NIN on Biffy day. Not sure if Luckysalt said NME Sunday or just NME, but if he's right, then I see Dizzee way more likely to sub to Biffy than I do to Eminem.

I think if they choose the rights acts, the new stages will be fine.
