I know they played 4th last time but i cant see FOB playing as low as 4th. Subbing would be a bit of a push but 3rd seems about right.

Also, Dizzee Rascal had better not be there, I've already got the misfortune of having to see him support Muse twice in the Summer. If he takes a sub spot under Biffy which could have gone to Nine Inch Nails, well...

Also I'm aware I don't have to watch him, and I'll be fine if there's something decent on elsewhere. I'm just hating everything which lessens my chances of seeing NIN.

Yup there is, I reckon they'll get a NME spot this year around subbing point, not necessarily on Biffy's day, if all goes well, come back thw following year.

That's just booking a day of V est at Reading. It was only back in 2008 that Biffy and Dizzee played the same day/stage together, although if the new booking guy doesn't see that as an issue and just that they get acts that a relevant and that will sell we'll see

They can only play Biffy's day. They're at Rock En Seine Saturday.

We don't know how the new booker will approach it...we are talking about the friday at Reading potentially finishing with Deftones, SOAD and a heavy headliner...thats a very download style day, Saturday potentially with Eminem and Example, and now maybe even Dizzee - that would be a very V style day. Each day could possibly sell out day tickets to their respective fan bases so maybe that's a large motive for the new booker?

They don't need to do R+L at all. In fact I think if Latitude has the same headliners as Longitude then one of Vampire Weekend and Phoenix aren't gonna be at Reading and Leeds. And, considering VW aren't on the North American leg of the Mumford Banjo Roadshow thing and Phoenix are in Paris that weekend, that's up for debate.
