Sigur Ros and David Byrne are 2 of the acts I most want to see this year, and neither of them are going to be at RnL or Glasto, I'm gutted. Might go to Jodrell Bank, but no money for EOTR and their own gigs are way too far away

David Byrne's tour really pissed me off, only Glasgow, Birmingham and London? Living in Leeds sucks sometimes

Its got the the best headliners of the summer for my tastes(sigur ros and belle and sebastian), going to be a bit tight money wise but cant pass it up.

Fair enough. I never had too much trouble because I used my skills of mind reading the ages and financial status of people on the internet to my benefit.

I didn't know Jodrell Bank was in Macclesfield though, I thought it was in London. That's a much better option.

Just watching on MTV "Rock's Biggest Anthems of the 10s", so far I've seen Two Door Cinema Club and The Lumineers, think we're into the top 20 or so. The future of R&L doesn't look good if this is what people class as rock anthems these days

Not a fan of LTA so I put MTV Rocks back on and they played AWOLNATION and Foals, I'm happier, think MTV need and MTV Indie/Alternative channel though, majority of the stuff they play on Rocks is not rock

MTV2/Rocks used to be a decent channel as well, but I haven't watched it ages due to the same songs on a loop.

First time I've heard of AWOLNATION getting any play over here. You just know that if they made a channel like that they'd just play Kings Of Leon and Mumford and Sons all day anyway.

Was looking for that last week, very rare I watch theusic channels but that was a good one.

VH2 was a great channel, played lots of 80s and 90s indie bands. That's how I discovered loads of older bands.

There is a lack of decent music channels. Lava was a great one for newer band and Q has some awesome songs on it
