Hives, Enter Shikari (I dont know the "rules" on 2nd stage headliners), Jimmy Eat World? I'd hope Mastodon but doubt it. Can't think of many others

If bands play both I think they tend to play different stages (especially those higher up)

I'd take Young Guns, The Hives and Jimmy Eat World.

I'd like Motorhead, UFO, Volbeat and Alice In Chains too but can't see them happening

I think A Day To Remember are very likely, Limp Bizkit possible as well.

From Download I would say Limp Bizkit, Jimmy Eat World, Cancer Bats, The Hives and A Day To Remember are the only realistic ones, maybe Parkway Drive too. I doubt Shikari would play again and Mastodon were so boring last year.

It's a cross between metal and hardcore, and every metalcore band I've heard have been awful.

Metalcore is utter trash imo. BMTH were terrible when they sounded like that.

I don't think I'd deem any of BMTH's works Metalcore. Deathcore, you'd be definitely right. But overall they're just really brutal hardcore.
