What a bint, A$AP managed and he played later than she did?! not that I care anyway, cause she's shit and clashed with SOAD ha.

and yeah, I'm only a little bit gutted though, the weekend was really amazing, and I would have felt like shit for SOAD if I'd gone to see him, cause it rained for like two hours straight and I was already wet through!

It rained the worst at Frank to be honest. That was my 5th time seeing him and he was just good. Nothing special, if you've seen him before you know what you're missing. The only thing was he has a guitarist in the band now so he's just a front man it seems. That makes me sad.

We sacked Frank Turner and Deftones off because of the rain, we were just sick of it by then. Went and saw Feed The Rhino instead and thought they were quality, absolutely mental, really enjoyed them. And then we went and saw Bastard Eel (Bastille) and I just found them so boring.

Anyone that missed the Deftones at Leeds because of teh rain dipped out big style. They were brilliant. I'm not a fan and don't know their stuff but I sure will do now. It was a small crowd but that actually contributed in a way. It never rained during their set either!

i was at leeds and biffy clyro put in one of the best live performances i have ever seen by anyone in my life. i knew they were a good live band, but they blew me away with every single thing they did.

i went to see disclosure before as well, and that tent must have been at double capacity, as well as about 70 deep outside, the atmosphere in there was unbelievable.

thought system and green day were both good, but not amazing. was probably due to the fact i was so tired i sat down for most of them though.

thought chase and status were great, was probably a bit too crowded though, had to move back to next to the vodafone platform for eminem and it was still packed, biggest crowd of the weekend for me.

eminem was absolutely incredible, i really didn't know what to expect but he was far better than i ever expected, and he didn't mime. the medley of my name is / real slim shady / without me is up there with one of the best moments of my life.

only let down was the weather, which was horrific, but it was all part of the experience i guess. already counting down the days to next year.

what a great weekend. even with the shit weather!! all three headliners were class (2nd row for eminem, clearly mimeing imo but still good)

Disclosure were amazing and left me speechless... but for me the highlight of the weekend were Dry the river... first one the nme stage for the day with a small but loud crowd. they nailed it!!! crowd were singing back everything and dancing like crazy!

BTW Dog Is Dead are going to be huge very soon!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
