Its because NIN get such low coverage. Virtually never mentioned in any of the major music mags nor featured on music channels. They are very much underrated. When they turn up as sub headliners at R/L half of the crowd will have never heard of them.

Just got back from Reading, didnt really see a bad set all weekend.

What I will say is weather was fantastic, camped in White and had a great chilled atmosphere and an older crowd until last night about 2am it started to kick off a bit with some pissed lads saying they were gunna burn peoples tents down and that and singing really badly for 2hrs, I think they thought they were really funny but they were just boring as were the Alan and Steve chants.

Music wise Tomahawk were one of the best for me all weekend and they had a decent crowd, not full but decent, FOB had a HUGE crowd then everyone fucked off for NIN who had the smallest mainstage crowd I saw all weekend at the start but once he kicked up the set to the more upbeat stuff the crowd size doubled.

Didn't watch Biffy, tried to watch Knife Party but couldn't get anywhere near the tent the queue was about 200 people deep, I stood at the back and couldn't even hear a thing from the tent, watched some of Wretch 32 and Enter Shikari and then just walked about, catching bits of Biffy here and there. They sounded good.

Skindred absolutely smashed it and I think they made a lot of new fans, Deftones started dodgy but won over the crowd I think. System started strongly but kinda lost they way during the set I thought, was nowhere near as good as Download 2011, set was under a hour wasn't it? Which was disappointing. Green Day were good IMO, a LOT of the crowd fucked off once they started playing dookie though, which they performed really well.

Eminem was really enjoyable and Tame Impala were fucking fantastic, I also thought FIDLAR smashed it.

Had a really good weekend and also met Beez and his mrs in the wetherspoons on the Saturday day time which I spent most of the day in :)

Biffy were easily the band of the weekend for me, absolutely brilliant! Had a really good weekend despite the shite weather at Leeds, and surprisingly I saw very little trouble, and I was for some reason expecting to see a lot.

yeah they cancelled relentless quite a lot because the fields were absolutely fucked, don't think they cancelled any bands, although I did miss Frank Turner and Bastille so I could dry off before SOAD.

Does anybody know if Iggy Azalea turned up at Leeds? A$AP did so her travel excuse is bull if she didn't go. It would be funny if she did turn up and nobody had bothered to go. Serve her right.

    • Out of interest (I could look but being lazy), do Mad Cool repeat that quickly? They only played last year
    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.
