This is the article that confirms FOKIN BOIS to play glastonbury.

All well and good, but I like the comment at the end, we can take it with a pinch of salt, but do you think they could be telling the truth?

"The headline acts for this year’s event have been booked but the organizers have kept their identity, a secret. This year’s event takes place in June."

Has anyone mentioned Suede as a possible headliner? I know people would think they're not big enough, or more suited to the Other stage, but if they spend a load on the Stone, or if they are running out of options, they could step up. They've had worse headliners on the Sunday, like Kula Shaker, or Skunk Anansie.

I'd be well up contributing a bit of my unique voice to this efests online mag, I've always liked the idea of doing a few online reviews of music I like, but didn't want to post it somewhere where anonymous strangers would just post smartarse bollocks in the comment section. But if the comment section is filled with smartarse bollocks from the motley crew of fellow efests idiots then I'm well up for it.

I'm not saying the public votes makes it all OK, but I'm kinda bored of reading a bunch of people slag off a magazine constantly (especially when a lot of it amounts to comments such as "it was better back in my day"), so yeah...

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
