An inconsiderate partner? Seriously? Being away for a DAY (she'll probably fucking come with so she can get in the press). If Kanye doesn't play it will be NOTHING to do with the baby. It'll be because he hasn't been asked. He'd be nowhere near an 'inconsiderate partner' if he played.

He's going out with a Kardashian, a woman who consistently has 50 family members around her 24 hours a day. If anything she's probably gutted that she can't pop the baby out during his headline set live on the BBC.

Yeah, I have always liked New Order but have never been sure of them live. I loved them at Bestival, especially the Joy Division stuff they did, it sounded great and it just seemed to be appropriate, and work. Not sure why, but it seemed very respectful and fitting (no pun intended) to Ian Curtis. They went up in my impressions at that gig. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very glad to see New Order being talked about so positively on here. I know you guys have very high standards

Have to admit to being a bit of a New Order nut

The set list for last years tour was broadly the same as this one from Brixton

Elegia

Crystal

Regret

Ceremony

Age of Consent

Love Vigilantes

Here to Stay

Waiting for the Sirens' Call

Bizarre Love Triangle

True Faith

5 8 6

The Perfect Kiss

Blue Monday

Temptation

Transmission

Love Will Tear Us Apart

I do miss the chaos and tension of Hooky but new New Order is a great live act. They are already touring North and South America in April and I would love to see them somewhere at Glastonbury this year. So long as they dont get pulled off stage early to make way for Coldplay like last time

Yeah, thinking about all the hits they have, I know it's pretty much out of the question but I think it would work well if they did headline the Pyramid. They have ample amounts of recognizable songs and they seem to be on top form at the moment.

Reckon they would do well and appreciate it more than other artists closing Sunday night.

Maybe start a cliff conspiracy thread see and see how's long it lasts. It must be him as he likes tennis and eavis has been dropping hints for 6 months by wearing tennis shorts in every photo opportunity..

Bill wymans rhythm kings are playing. Now there's a walk on guest for one of the headliners sorted.....

All together now 'I got myself crying walking sleeping talking LIVING DOLL'

Very off topic i know. This weekend i caught a repeat on Sky Arts about Melody Gardot called " The Accidental Musician ". As a fan it made me wonder if Glastonbury would ever think of asking Miss Gardot to perform? I'm sure she would go down well on somewhere like the Acoustic stage. There does not seem to be anywhere catering for here type of music now the Bourbon st has closed, perhaps West Holts, although we don't know the new site layout yet. Though it may not be this year as i don't think she's touring this summer, she only lives in Paris so it's not a long way to come. Her aversions might however prevent her from coming.

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
    • I was surprised as well. I met more than 20 different people on both Friday and Saturday that had come in reusing QR codes.
