Someone else has probably already pointed this out but, at least according to Halvin, the special guests are significantly later than last year, aren't they? By about 2 hours, I reckon. This suggests that it's more likely to be a "full" act and they are scheduled against some pretty heavy hitters (beginnings of Moz and Elbow would be missed for special gueats) so presumably, whoever is booked, will need to be fairly significant. Just some fuel for the fire.

Pulp and PJ Harvey would be absolutely ideal. PJ Harvey in particular would work brilliantly on the Park stage.

My guess is also gonna be Pulp and PJ Harvey...Pulp I think will stay a secret until the day because they would be such a massive draw, PJ Harvey is sorta wishful thinking cos I really want her to play and don't get why she's a festival exclusive to Bestival

Due to the slots being later on in the day, maybe one could be an actual Radiohead set (!!), but then that's sorta too similar to last year and for people who don't like Radiohead, they would complain it's too similar. Others I could think of are maybe Weezer or Jay Z.

No it doesn't it, the radiohead thing was a one off, I think people getting there hopes up are going be disspointed. I just think after radiohead last year they'd be crazy to do it as anyone kept on the quiet is going to get a ridiculous amount of people and if its a headline size band again rediculous sized =p

i hope Brandon is the Saturday special guest - I want to see the full Elbow set, but obviously if it is Pulp or Noel Gallagher or someone like that I would want to see them.

I really want to know who they are this year beforehand to be honest - I dont fancy leaving Elbow and Morrissey to find out its Brandon Flowers!

He'd get a big crowd because the Killers are huge so it would split the crowd quite well!
