He must have something chief, Fergie doesnt have him there for no reason.

Bebe is the next Pele!!:lol:

f**king Bebe. Jesus christ.

Were you involved in the sale? If not you should've been. Great sales pitch using a shit "product". I cant help but feel you were sniggering while you were typing that.

Beachball Brucie must be the most gullible manager out there.

Kenny: "Alright Steve…… Ngog……no really….. *snigger*….. hes actually quite……*snigger*……….good……

*muffles phone, tears streaming down his face*

Bruce: "Hello… Kenny….hello?! Are you ok?!

*Kenny picks himself up the floor*

Kenny: "Sorry Beachball….. I'll have to call you back……"

30 seconds later......

Kenny: "HEY!.... DIRK...... Beachball's going to give us 7 million for Ngog!!"

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm delighted we're getting as much for him as we are. He's never ever worth £7m.

But he's also not a disgrace is he? Scored against Arsenal, United, Villa etc. He can be useful and easily has the ability to be better than players such as Zamora etc.

Jones for Man Utd....i hadn't seen that one coming.

Seems like Man Utd are primed for splashing plenty of cash this summer if there is any truth in the rumours flying around.

They need to really to keep ahead of Man City and to try and catch Barca

Jones is a wierd one for me, evidently they see him as playing in midfield more than defence but what really is he going to add to the squad other than having a lot of potential?

The whole catching Barca thing is rubbish, the English game, the way its played and its tempo is too flawed for any English team to get anywhere near Barcelona.

Sneijder's the big one though. United need a playmaker, the midfield now is just so boring it's unreal.

Jones is a quality act, absolutely gutted to see him leave and think United have bought a steal even at the price they paid. He's future England material without a doubt.

Stat for you, Jones made 1 more tackle than Vidic throughout last season despite playing 9 games less.

And Benj. It's makem or mak'em, not mackem. It's an abbreviation of make them in a makem accent. It derives from Sunderland's exploitative industry, in which the people of the area would make them and the rest of the country would take them. Or as the Mags will say, Mak'em and tak'em.

and of course "brough" is *always* pronounced the same as "borough", eh? PMSL.

Nah hes not a disgrace, was taking the piss. Hes never a Liverpool player though.

Ngog's problem at Liverpool is that he's too static - which doesn't work great for one of the bigger teams who tend to have the opposition pushed back.

He'll look far better in a weaker team, where the very fact of them being weaker will force him to have more movement.

Apparently Ngog might not be off to Sunderland then? We'll pay £16m instead.

Well whatever happens, this transfer window doesn't look like it's going to be dull.

    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
    • Ive always had a lot of time for the mighty Shots, a pal of mine used to commentate on their games for Sussex Counties radio and he'd sneak me into the ground for midweek games, and we'd even nick a tea and a plate of sandwiches. This is back in the George Borg days, so um . . a little while ago now
    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.
