Morrissey in 2004 was definitely one of them. I saw him at the Albert Hall a year or two before, prior to him getting a deal and releasing You Are The Quarry. He was excellent there, at Glasto he just didn't seem to want to be there.

PJ Harvey, same year I think, on Pyramid. She's great, but was totally lost on that stage. Should've been in the John Peel tent.

Wilco, again 2004, Pyramid on the Friday, so much fuss and it was so flat we left after 4 songs to go back to the Cider Bus.

Took my mate Ed along to see Babyshambles (he's blind and needed someone to guide him about) as he's a fan... I thought they were (and still are) a crock of shit.

Saw Doctors, 2007, whether it was me being tired or them not being on their game I can't remember, I wanted to see 'em, mates didn't but I was too knackered to trudge back across to the Other Stage in a hurry so we stayed. Uninspired set would be an understatement.

Bruce last year, I really enjoyed the set as a fan, but was disappointed as it wasn't the show it could have been. Should probably have been a 2 hour slot on reflection, and he should've chosen a lot of different songs to play.

Away from Glastonbury, I had the pleasure of seeing an on-fire Primal Scream at Leeds in 2000 immediately before the second worst band of that weekend, Oasis. Only Deftones were more boring.

Another vote for Fleet Foxes. They didn't play badly, they were just incredibly nervous and lost on such a big stage and the majority of people around me seemed uninterested. Even White Winter Hymnal and Mykonos didn't get much of a reaction.

The Verve 2008 - A piss poor way to end one of the greatest weekends of my life.

Status Quo 2009 - yawnfest.

Editors 2008 - I like them on record, but it was just so dour and dull.

Pigeon Detectives 2008 - The frontman was up his own arse so much, ruined it.

Of course I'm not being serious. It was a wonderful performance filled with songs that have been with me my entire life. Literally. I understand Abbey Road was playing on the record-player the day I came home from the hospital, and my father gave me Sgt Pepper for my fifth birthday.

I even enjoyed the Macca's "Nan" songs.

I was left very flat after seeing British Sea Power in the JP the other year !

What made it worse was someone stood next to me had dragged his mates along , saying how

good they were !

In fact they were rubbish on the main stage at Leeds as well that year !

Mine was probably Babyshambles in...2007 i think it was, the sound was awful and it never got going. Luckily though i saw them around Christmas of the same year in Bristol and they were amazing!

Anyone remember New Order doing their first Glastonbury performance in 1981? The expectation and hype was enormous but they wuz drunk and were f**king awful.....never seen so many people walking away in droves! Put me off them for years!

Plus Bob Dylan whenever it was....FFS somebody shoot him!
