Also - I thought the Pigeon Detectives were AMAZING in 2007 in the JP - a brilliant, high energy performance. I loved it.

But on the Other Stage in 2008, they seemed to have lost a lot of their spark - and I thought Emergency was a rubbish follow up album.

Not interested in seeing them again, sadly.

I thought Lady Gaga was going to be a fun guilty pleasure last year which I could enjoy while pretending I was just keeping my girlfriend company. As it turned out she was total gash and turned in one of the most cringeworthy live performances I've ever seen.

I would agree with several people above, Shaky was dire that green door that some people had brought in the crowd had more charisma.

Also probably more controversially I was very disappointed by Hot Chip on the Other Stage in 2008, perhaps it was the stage, not my favourite stage by a long way, but I just could not get into it at all. That said I am hoping that was a one off because I would very likely see them again this year, just on a different stage, although that seems unlikely.

Was wondering past when East 17 took to the stage last year which was 24 Carat dogshit - enough to make your toenails fall off.

But my money is on Sandi Thom to beat the worst ever Glasto performance this year with something truly suicide inducing.

Prodigy have been doing the same thing for so long that there was probably a certain hardcore up front loving the fact they were hearing the songs for the 40th time while everyone else had a dawning realisation that they were missing the gig of the year elsewhere.

I'm not sure what people were expecting, but I enjoyed Fleet Foxes, great voices, made a bit of banter that the crowd didn't 'get' at the start. I think that put them on edge a bit though and they didn't say much after that. But they played the songs really well.

They're a band that need to be properly 'listened' to. They might have been the wrong place on the Pyramid with people around me talking over the top of them in the quieter bits.
