The Springsteen setlist was shite last year, thought it was pretty dull. CSN were a letdown too, but I was in a brief bad mood so that might have explained a lot of it. Status Quo can f**k off as well.

Sifimaster!? That post is so full of wrong! Where do I start? 'cover' versions of his own songs??! 'own material'??!! 'tribute band'?!! are you being at all serious??

Fratellis & The View (not sure why I thought they would be any good, in the first place)

The Boss (one of the kids got tired/bored so we had a argument who was taking him back to the tent, we both wanted to :P )

BUT my biggest disappointment was Paul Weller in 2007, boring boring boring :P

BTW I loved CSN

2003 - Suede, Pyramid - "BOUNCE, BOUNCE! YEAH!" Jeez Brett, you used to be cool

That's way harsh! It was a sunny early evening and a crowd not entirely consisting of Suede fans - I enjoyed it.

Bruce was boorrring - it's a FESTIVAL, not an extra UK show.

Oasis - nuff said. Rubbish band anyway.

Fleet Foxes - simply wrong time, wrong place - at least they tried.

Can't think of any more that have been a let down.

:P

For me it would be The Verve, i maybe hyped myself up that it would be really good, and i did get songs that i liked, it just seemed a bit dull. It could also be that it was the last night of the festival.

I was a bit 'meh' about the Verve to be honest. I like them so went along and although it was okay, it certainly didn't have anything like the 'wow' factor of other sets that year such as Elbow, Buddy Guy etc.

Certainly not the most disappointing set I've seen at Glasto, but by no means the worst. But I didn't expect to be wowed by them in the first place.

Funny old world - because for me, The Verve was my 2008 highlight!

That said, i was low on sleep and high on cider so those factors could have contributed to my experience?

most disappointing ever would have to be arctic monkeys at leeds last year. was just so boring.

at glasto? I'd heard good things about the boxer rebellion, so went to see them to get a good spot for art brut. needn't have bothered in the end and i saw nothing in the boxer rebellion that would have deserved the hype i'd been told about.

1992 - I was a bit out of it, but I suppose I must have been disappointed by The Orb on the NME stage, given that half an hour into their set I asked when they were coming on

Nick Cave last year for me, didnt want to watch him but my mates had given up on moving and wouldnt leave the pyramid stage. What utter gash !!! Boring and wierd as hell.

Worst Ive ever seen, I cant decide between RHCP Leeds 07, Darkness Leeds 04, or Angels and Airwaves Leeds 07, all f**king terrible.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
