That surprised me, I hate trying to get to grips with new programming languages and platforms.

Been tidying the flat all day and it looks spotless, last evening at Uni before I go back home tomorrow for Christmas (thank god for that, I'm definitely ready to go home) and I'm going to a house party tonight!

Last day at work today and then I'm off until the 2nd January. Even though I can hardly be accussed of being a workaholic it's nice to get away from it.

Spent a really chilled evening out my son yesterday. We hit the Christmas markets, and although we managed to get a few bargains I was a little taken aback at the price of the drinks. I don't go out that much but 4 quid for a pint or a mug of mulled wine did seem a little excessive. Still I had a good time and somehow came home with 2 potted Christmas trees for a fiver.

Happy to be alive. I think it's because I'm off work. Got until the 2nd away from the place. Also I've just booked a week's holiday in Lanzarote for late January. Going to be staying in a little fishing village to the North of the island which gets very few tourists.

Spent a lot of money today (not a thing to be happy about in itself) but as the outlay was on four tickets for next year's Wychwood Festival and a new telly (a bargain in the sale because our old one finally died) I suppose as spending went there should be reasonably pleasurable returns to come.

Happy to get back to work? Not something that will ever happen to me. I'm loving the time away from it. That said, today is the first day I've felt stress free so know what you mean about the mayhem. I guess the double time pay is a great incentive.

My eldest has been using Logic for years. I am a real technophobe but even I find it a good piece if kit.

I just find it incredibly simple and easy to use, compared to something like Reaper where everything is made to be extremely complicated!
