  4. Sorry, missed this post, no idea why... I love football, (hence the username, lol) and have followed England through several major tournaments, both attending games in person, and on television. I may well be one of those people who chooses to watch rather than enjoy the festival... Would you like some steps to help you climb down?
  5. chucked the sleeping bag through the washing machine, it smelled faintly of cider.
  6. Those Whitebox Cocktails are delightful Had a try last weekend Disco Baby & Straight Up Daiquiri 👌🏽
  7. probably just what they want, forbes as dep help push the idea that the greens social agenda is history,
  8. Went to nose at a tent. Seen one of those inflatable ones much lighter but no built in ground sheet which puts me off. Heard loads about those blackout ones but I want something I cant stand up in (6ft 2) so probably getting a heavyish one (lighter than our old one) Once the tent is bought then all eyes to fashion and Glastonbury add ones etc !
  9. It’s not bins you can see in the triangle, it’s 2 sets of raised metal toilets and a urinal. We arrived on the coach in 2023 and joined the queue around 07:30. Loads of space in Bushy at that time. Thinking it could fill up a bit earlier this year following the improvements to Silver Hayes and if Pylon stays closed to general public.
  10. That don't impress me much!!

i'm interested in what labour will do with zero-hours contracts, cos for some places, it works well for employer and employee. the carers where i live are on zhc's, quite a few are young mums, who want/need the flexibility so they can spend some of their time being mothers. changing zhc's could have lots of carers stop working (which is the last thing the sector needs!)
  12. ha, tbf I had an element of doubt and thought you might have a point.
  13. Wheres this been announced? Exciting though!

i read that and it reminded me that i knew Mark Thatcher (before he was infamous), who was similar to describe to that above but worked out of an estate agents (in Yateley, hants) selling mortgages.

  17. A few new bits arrived - got a new daypack as my little running backpack that I used last year is starting to die on me. Thoroughly recommended too - it’s a 14-litre Kelty Minnow, which is advertised as being for kids aged 4-8 but is a perfect size to take 2x little Quechua folding chairs from Decathlon plus various other bits. Just had a play with it and I’ve got 2 chairs, 9x330ml cans, a 400ml water bottle and a hat in there, and that’s without using the mesh pockets on the side. I reckon there’s still room to get a thin long-sleeved shirt in there as well. A new headtorch also arrived, as did some tent spares inc a load of guy-rope tensioners.
  18. wouldn't be surprised if ratcliffe has chosen the chosen one! give him one last chance to wreck the club
  19. Meant to ask if anyone has a clue about prices? Not being dynamically priced I hope.

Ah man, a titan of alt rock. Saw him with Shellac a couple of years ago, they were great. He will be missed.
  21. Worth checking out Brutus and Gel if you’re a fan of Scowl.
  22. This is a long old wait until Fridays Wateraid finalist announcement. I’ve checked my emails and junk about ten thousand times in the hope a winning Co Op email comes through 😂 Also tried a brother’s can but no luck. At least there’s no more chocolate so that’s a small win 🤞Feel like I’m having a tumble weed moment now the fun of designing the Wateraid tattoos is over 😂
