Interesting, if it's a headliner announcement that's early for them.  They don't usually have the clout to be the first to announce a big name, so maybe someone who has just been announced elsewhere - Nick Cave?

Fair play, until the rumour this morning I was thinking only along the lines of someone announced elsewhere like Nick Cave or Lewis Capaldi, or a French/Belgian act.  Not like RES to be first out of the traps announcing someone who is likely to be playing at other big festivals.

 

Ticket prices are up for tomorrow's onsale, and it is five days again but with the Wednesday as a standalone day - they are selling 4-day passes from Thursday to Sunday.

Bougth our group some 4-day tickets based on the currently known names. I'm wondering what more to expect 😅? First time to RES and first time I got tickets with hardly any name announced. Are there any rumours about the festival, I can't find any ;-)?

Worth clarifying that he's doing the standalone day on the Wednesday.  This is a departure from their usual approach for the Wednesday, which in recent years has had a big pop headliner.

Also worth clarifying that you can book 4-day tickets (weekend + wednesday) at 235€ while weekend ticket is 199€.

So it's more a bonus day than a standalone day.

Are you sure? €235 is for the Thursday- Sunday.
