2026 line-up speculation

This is a misquote. I said "irrelevant to the festival" as in, it is highly unlikely that they will be back as they will be mega. My point being that the festival has a spirit of raising someone up if they feel it fits rather than picking the biggest name available.

Anyway, I thought this was a speculation thread not a sh*t on the speculation, so moving on...

In every single speculation thread people express positive and negative views on potential names.

I actually like Richard Dawson, I just would prefer he doesn’t use up a Garden Headliner spot having seen him a couple of times recently at EOTR already. And I’m not the only one who likes EOTR keeping the lineups fresh.

I think it should be Earl Sweatshirt really, he's been consistently one of the best rappers going for over 10 years now. Depending on how the album with Mike turns out I could definitely be swayed to miss CMAT or Mac Demarco for him

Several acts here who I'd be pretty happy to see - Derya Yildirim, Ryan Davis, Deary, Way Dynamic, Rostam, Brother Wallace - so though there's nobody I'm a huge fan of it's still a pretty good second announcement. The Green Man lineup is still much better from where I'm standing, but there's enough here for me to be a pretty happy punter (and I'm doing GM too).

Have never done both but seriously considering it this year - if I get lucky with a resell ticket for Green Man that is.

I have a problem here, which is that there are nine more artists than last year (with Next Wave winners to be added) and I don't know where to put them all unless the Folly secret sets are being axed and/or Big Top is opening on Thursday.

Talking Heads often has an hour between sets.  Possibly more there?
