i'm still convinced at least one of the Garden headliners or Woods sub-headliners hasn't been announced yet.

I'd imagine it's something like:

Garden: Lucinda Williams, Ty Segall, ???

Woods sub: SFA, Kurt Vile, Fat Dog

Praying it's announced as Bill Callahan/Dirty Three

some great stuff in the undercard for the more experimentally inclined among us:

james k, brighde chaimbeul, bassvictim, yhwh nailgun, marisa anderson, sirom, nana benz du togo, ezra feinberg, ak'chamel, william tyler, model/actriz, jennifer walton, maddie ashman, fine...

That undercard is stupidly strong. Have to make sure I don't just check in on friends from the indie circuit and do cover a good chunk of these experimental sounds.

I do bloody hate the Boat set-up though, not much point of going there to stand at the back if as a visually inclined punter I want to see the instrumentation, and also want to rush off to catch bits of other acts.

I've also had a go at a clashfinder but I'm not overly confident about it. https://clashfinder.com/s/eotr2026/

Really appreciate the effort, and having it labelled unmitigated horseshit 😆

Piss at 13:15 is just a rather mean way to emotionally ruin a whole day. Probably best for the post-CMAT headline set, in the Big Top. You've had your fun? Here comes the despair.

Have done a little bit of rejigging around the clashfinder (SFA have self-confirmed for Sunday, which leads me to think my suspicions are correct), and I suspect we've got a Garden headliner to come. I don't think the Copelands will headline, for one thing they're below Working Men's Club on the line-up page who definitely won't be in that big a slot, and they're playing CMAT's curated Lido day so I wouldn't think they'd be on opposite her.

Do you think Super Furries might be opposite Mac de Marco on Sunday? I really think Pulp deserve a Friday or Saturday slot, and I also hope they don't do a double header with the Super Furries... great bands but that would be a bit too 90s Reading Festival for me.

Mac's playing in Antwerp on Monday so he'd be flying out on Sunday, and the press release says his label showcase is on Friday. SFA against CMAT I really doubt and against Pulp just isn't going to happen - and that they're in the same font size as the headliners makes me think that they'd be playing a de facto headliner length Woods set.

I'm gonna take a punt that it looks like this

Fri:

Mac Demarco - Woods

Lucinda Williams - Garden

Sat:

CMAT - Woods

??? (Danny Brown smirk face) - Garden

Sun:

Pulp - Woods

SFA - Woods sub

Ty Segall - Garden

I suspect it would be Ty Segall garden clash w CMAT, similar trend to Viagra Boys/Self Esteem last year - low crossover

(although that’s just me being hopeful as want to see pulp and Ty)

Hmm, where did you hear this? Is a tough sell that to a festival audience.

I can't imagine seven months out that they know exactly what the setlist is going to be, and I can't imagine Jarvis thinks the way to commemorate a big anniversary bash booking to a festival crowd is playing songs only the hardcore fans know, especially as from what I've seen hardcore fans saw that it was £300 for an event that only three names were listed for and balked at it, hence why we've not even had a low tickets warning when it's the smallest capacity outdoor UK gig they've played on this run.
