2026 line-up speculation

Felice Brothers playing Kernowfornia in Looe on the Saturday night. It’s a 3 hour drive to Larmer Tree. Surely they have to be a strong possibility for any of the other nights.

Their set in the big Top on the Sunday night in 2014 was one of our favourite EOTR memories. Also 2010 and did a secret set with Low Anthem members that year. V high on my wish list 🙂

That would be great! Not see The Felice Brothers since the Troxy in 2010 so would be well up for catching them again.

"We've got some news coming soon" https://www.instagram.com/p/DUGlsbEiGqt/

Last time they did this the headliners dropped the next morning, so either tomorrow or the start of next week to see if the person on the EOTR Reddit sub (which I didn't know was a thing until very recently) who says they heard LCD Soundsystem were going to be added were right or not.

WOAH, fantastic to have this so soon.

Someone on there (who doesn't seem clinically insane) is saying rumour is Monday for the lineup.

LCD Soundsystem would be funny for me (although I see others say won’t be there). I’ve never knowingly chosen to play them, but Spotify has dropped them it into my “radio” or DJ X, etc., all the time, usually off the back of an EOTR band starter (FJM, SVE, Phosphorescent, etc., etc., such that “all my friends” ends up in my “top tunes”. So I actually listened to the lyrics and it really resonates!! Their other stuff sounds good too, I might start actually actively listening to them now 😅

Simply no money left to book them - they are huge!

But definitely worth a listen 😄

Yeah, just for the clarification I really couldn't imagine I'd need to make, there is absolutely zero chance of LCD Soundsystem playing at the festival this year or most likely ever. I just found it funny that someone was sure they'd be the kind of band to be added to a 15k capacity festival that's already announced its headliners.

There is as much chance of Oasis or The Beatles playing.

Simon has re-Storied the EOTR film and overtyped the word 'Third'. So the announcement's on Tuesday rather than Monday? Or he meant to type something else and got distracted?

Sounds like the Tuesday it is!

(unless it’s a surprise portishead album in full headliner 😉 )

sorry this isn't lineup related - but do they usually put on instagram or something when tickets are running low? I feel like will sell out much quicker this year and its already tier 4, but I have friends who sometimes need a kick up the arse to actually buy the tickets

Yeah they usually put up "last 200" or something like that and it sells out within a few hours or so then.

Last year there was nothing on Twickets and a couple of people at the gate of the festival on Thursday morning trying for tickets.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned Upchuck? They’re at Canela Party the week before and I can’t see any other European dates. Saw them supporting Anyl a couple of years back, were at GM last year

There is usually some crossover with Canela Party, and there are few other possibles this year. Maruja, Ditz, Melody's Echo Chamber, High Vis, Mannequin Pussy, The Beths. Probably not Deafheaven. And hopefully not Unknown Mortal Orchestra, who were the weakest EotR headliner booking I can remember.

My shouts for Garden headliners are Dirty Three, Lucy Dacus and Danny Brown.

For Woods sub-headliner, I reckon Ty Segall, Kurt Vile and The Beta Band.

Gonna double down on this ahead of tomorrow's announcement, but replace The Beta Band with Broken Social Scene

Broken Social Scene announcing a new album, played EOTR 10 years ago, are generally quite legendary...

    • Based on previous times that rules quite a lot out of early summer festivals into the August runs.
    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
