Have NewDad definitely got a gig on the Friday? I couldn't see that from my brief look. They just seem quite a big band these days to play opposite Bonnie Prince Billy on the Thurs. Maybe this is just my wishful thinking as I'd like to see both...

I haven't checked on availability, but I reckon a few from the Christmas album list seems a decent bet. I'm going to predict Fever Ray, Mandy Indiana, Joanna Sternberg, the Golden Dregs, Lankum and Tirzah. I'll personally be keeping everything crossed for Big Thief and Blonde Redhead.

Any thoughts on Sigur Ros as a potential headliner? They've had a new album out this year, and are the very first name on that archived End of the Road wishlist. They'd be amazing (even if their latest stuff isn't the most exciting). And for a name on the undercard, how about Blonde Redhead? They've got an album coming up, and the new stuff they've been releasing sounds absolutely brilliant.

I'm really sad about Ela Minus... I was super excited about seeing her. Sad about Laundromat too. I'm about to dive into the new additions... my first impressions are that they'll be pretty decent replacements.

Do we know for certain that it is a clash... ie that Ezra Furman is headlining the Garden? I suppose I hoped she could be subbing the Woods.

It's possible, but quite a few acts seem to list the Thurs as a default until timings are confirmed. I notice Ezra Furman is doing the same. Deerhoof would feel a reasonably big band to me to be playing that slot, based on previous Thurs form.
