Nothing wrong with the set at all, like BST. Just not the easier crowd as a bit of an older bloke to be in as as much as we are entitled to enjoy different music, we are in a minority for her compared.

On paper this was but I was only ever really FFS feeling for the final headliner, the rest i was fine with. My maye there sent me a video which I was like, not watching that.

timings really gonna be a thing. Sabrina will have a new album coming soon and we dont know if she is gonna do a whole other run of shows next year with a diff production. Then you would surely expect she takes time off in 27.
 

Chappell hasnt hinted at when hers will release. If its early next year then that would be a reasonable thing. She does a big tour, hits all the festivals and maybe a victory lap in 27. Unless one of them burns out. Chappell was pretty spent after everything last year. Nobody noticed she had been on the road for an entire year before things took off at Coachella and then got huge. 
 

but for sure their agents want top billing or nothing at all.

 

 

so whats up with bbc youtube channel having almost nothing available after the weekend? They really only care about bbc introducing or didnt get the licenses for everyones video clips. Its usually a decent amount of clips that go up during the weekend

Enjoyed the coverage... gutted not to be there, but 3 years in a row without tickets now, so regrettably missed a few and got used to enjoying the weekend with it on the telly. Crossing everything for tickets next time around. I worry I am now an old person who's never gonna get tickets again as the yoof know their way around the system, and we don't. Anyway.... things I can be bothered to mention.......

 

Ezra Collective - amazing! Best thing I saw on TV all weekend.

Olivia - best headliner, great songs, great attitiude, amazing band. It was very polished as expected, but thought she was amazing.

The 1975 - I've tried to like them, but I still just don't get it. 

Charli xcx - I wanted to like it, but no live band, just a screen etc. I realise there are a million reasons for this (i.e. the rise of acts with no live band in mainstream music) but give me musicianship any time. (Old man shouts at cloud). Surely miming for most of it, I mean, come on!

Rod - strained.

Pulp - amazing! Should have headliner, or atleast, should have had a later billed set. Maybe headlining other stage would have been good. They sound great at the minute and the new songs are great.

 

That's about it off the top of my head. saw some great other stuff!

Another fantastic year of BBC coverage. I was out all day yesterday so I missed a most/all coverage which I'll catch up on over the week. Seems Sunday certainly finished the fest off well though!?
 

Time to get stuck into a bit of Wimbledon and Euro 2025.

Hopefully see some of you in those fields in 722 days!

I have no idea what was said btw, I know that the poster in question can make some....questionable...statements at times and I have to confess that before the downvote button was removed they were my number one target, but I've never actually seen them say anything particularly offensive.

Really great festival this year. So galling to not to have been there. So many sets I would have loved to watch live. That said, I did enjoy the BBC coverage and have seen far more than I would have done had I been there. Highlights for me in no particular order were Pulp, Olivia Rodrigo, Rod Stewart, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol and Weezer. I worked on Friday so have a few sets still to catch up on, namely Supergrass, Shed Seven and Wunderhorse. Also want to see the Maccabees.

 

Hope the ticket gods are on my side next time.

I watched a bit of Neil Young on Saturday before falling asleep, due to being up early and needing to be up early the next day so could not enjoy the full thing, I'm gutted it's not on the Iplayer as I really liked what I saw.

Anyway thoroughly enjoyable weekend watching from my sofa - although definitely makes me want to try for 2027 tickets when they come out (or 2026 if the murmurs turn out to be true). Shout out to Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, Scissor Sisters, Olivia Rodrigo, Biffy Clyro, Noah Kahan and Nile Rodgers and Chic for some absolutely brilliant sets. Still some more to watch (The Prodigy and Wolf Alice to start with).
