Primavera Sound 2026

I'm sure it's very straight forward, but it's definitely in my nature to look at that Primavera post and just think "looks complicated and I cba"

If anyone fancies laying it out in laymans terms when the wristband thing is confirmed, that'd be GREAT

The CW specific map they posted today unfortunately obscures, by some writing, what are obvious barriers / entrance visible on the main site map. That is where I assume you’ll get the wristband (non-VIP).

It's quite funny that Primavera Sound has had a problem with lack of access to water over the years when you think about where it's located.

Beyond the obvious problems with drinking sea water, the smell around the festival site certainly discourages me from drinking any water that's not coming from a tap. 🙂

With all the practical information (buses, water points, prohibited items...) out of the way, let's move to the 7 missing stages and Saturday lineup for Cupra Pulse!

And now also The Backstage by Schwarzkopf, but, surely, this can't be it - just one set a day (two on Saturday)?

I choose to believe they're still updating it.

I asked them on social media and the confirmed there will be 2 queues, one for general festival entry and one for CW. Both queues you will be able to get your wristbands. Can still imagine it being super confusing when I get there.

Geese tickets gone in 5 mins

actually longer than I expected (not joking, thought it will end the minute they open) but it all depends on how they split it between VIP/pre-lineup/full/general public

Can't say I agree with this point. Different issues cause for different solutions.

It's two queues which means they can process people quicker if there is lots of demand. Not expecting a shitshow but risk mitigation 101.

Making it ticketed should be last resort only and it's not needed here. You could make it ticketed and people turn up 30 minutes before with their ticket but it takes too long to get through security and you get complaints.

Imo it'll be absolutely rammo, the fact that they're making a separate entrance for it suggests they're anticipating the same. People will potentially turn up at 3pm and queue for 2 hours for a gig they might not get in to, imo that's brutal and totally avoidable. Appreciate some people twerk for Primavera on here but they do make a lot of mistakes and I reckon this will be on primaverasucks before most folk have had their first beer of the weekend.

Hope to be wrong.

When you are wrong, which you will be, I look forward to you coming on here and saying you were wrong 😉

No one is going to turn up at 3pm and not get in. That is absurdly melodramatic. It's Cameron Winter, not Beyonce and the auditori is absolutely massive.

And full marks for the strawman that someone disagreeing with you must be biased towards the festival.

I wouldn't like Cameron Winter so much if I wasn't melodramatic.

Tbf there are just as many if not more people, especially on Instagram, who attend the festival but bitch and moan about every single decision that's made. In Instagram comments (sometimes Reddit too although it's more balanced there) everything is called "dangerous" or a "scam".

These things are usually said without any thought about the likely reasons behind the decision or other factors that the organisers need to consider. The festival is kind of damned if they do and damned if they don't in many ways. That's why on here you get a some push back that can occasionally lean a bit too far the other way.

Yeah, reminds me of how they introduce 15 euro refundable tickets and some people bitch about that (Why should I pay extra!) but then if they made them free people would bitch about that too (Why do I pay for this festival and then all the Ciutat tickets get snapped up in a millisecond!).

The organisation is very imperfect but for some things I can see their thinking and I'm very glad they learned from the disaster queues of 2022 for Ciutat. Often it's a case of finding the 'least bad' option.

No luck with Geese so far 😞 If anyone can give me a hint how to snag a ticket tomorrow, I’ll be very grateful

Just be there exactly on time - being even 10 seconds late might cost you your chance. This worked for me even when reserving Blood Orange (or Kneecap last year). And maybe a little prayer beforehand so that there aren't any technical glitches.

How long did Blood Orange take to sell out on General Sale, do you know?

I think it was instantly sold out (within seconds). However, I think I reserved it in the "early bird" batch, not in the general sale.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
