Can somoeine enlighten me about Mordor and it’s issues please?

The Mordor area has the two main stages, thus the most people, and there are a lot of campers who wait for the next big thing and talk through the set that you want to listen to. It's also a bit far from the other areas so you need some time to get there and get back. It's not inherently bad though, but spending too much time there can be tough.

It's just the main stage area. It's a bit soulless compared to the smaller stages and is much busier .You also generally get the worst crowd behaviour there and a lot of people that aren't into the act that's performing.

Nothing too different to other festivals, but most people share the opinion that the best moments are often at stages like Cupra or the small ones under the bridge.

Once your in auditori are you able to stay in your seat for the next act or do you need to leave and re-enter? Would quite like to do TNP, Bev Copeland and Anna Van back to back

Over the last few years it's been possible yes. Unless there is a change in rules, it should be OK again this year.

Is it possible to leave the festival and re-enter with a day ticket? (for attending auditorium) Just had that thought as I've always had a weekend band but only there for Thursday this year.

The Auditori is now part of the festival site, so accessible after ticket scan & security.  It used to be exit & re-entry back into the main festival site but that is no longer an issue

Can anyone help me decide between Blood Orange and Men I Trust?

I'm leaning towards Men I Trust at Cupra to cut down on Mordor time, but curious if anyone has seen both live?

They're both solid live. Given the early timeslot, I bet Men I Trust will work better at Cupra.

Usually can stay. Possibly an exception if it's a major act that is following. Which this year is not the case.

If I hadn't managed to grab the Tuesday Blood Orange tickets, I would have chosen to see them over Men I Trust. Simply because Blood Orange is on my must-see list while Men I Trust are "only" on my like-to-see list.

Thanks. I'm thinking the same. Blood Orange doing a late-ish set at Cupra or Amazon would've been much better I think.

Fair. Both are in the same category for me so I'll probably go with my gut and pick the better stage.

When in doubt about two equally good performers, but one is at Cupra and the other at Morder, I'd pick the first one 99% of times.

Also, I'm actually perplexed about Blood Orange playing in such a large venue in plain daylight - it looks like a live I would enjoy more in a intimate location.

Slowdive in daylight on Mordor is even more perplexing...

Quite a downer indeed - nothing better going on though, at least in my book.

I think swapping PinkPantheress and them would have gone a long way, also 'cause there must be an overlap between fanbase of Ethel Cain, PP and Addison Rae, so it would have been a win-win, but yeah, those things are more complicated than it looks I'd say

I couldn't believe this one. On the bright side at least they don't clash with The Cure. I half expected that.

100%. Swapping with Pinkpanthress solves a few issues because the size of the crowd she's going to draw at Cupra might be a bit dodgy.

Ditto, I would love an edition where the headliners were so much not to my taste I could skip Mordor altogether.

This is that edition for me, with the obvious exception of the cure. My one and only mordor act. I may take a peek at MBV otherwise meh.

Yeah last time I saw them at a festival it was ridiculous. Do prepare something to protect your ears, you will need it, even if you otherwise don't. It's like a plane landing over your head.

I saw Slowdive in both the darkness and the daylight.
One I really enjoyed, the other I didn't much.

Hmm!

We need Sunglasses... 😎 I am very happy they don't clash with The Cure... So I take the daytime-downer...
