Primavera Sound 2026

Thursday - Quite OK, I just don't like the Massive Attack / Florence Road / Doja Cat clash. Probably stay for the headliners.

Friday - Other than JADE clashing with the climax of The Cure set, it's fine.

Saturday - As expected, a clash nightmare.

Bestia Bebé / Grace Ives / Depresión Sonora / These New Puritans

Lambrini Girls / The xx / MARINA / Gorillaz (this one's a real headache)

Kneecap / Ninajirachi

Is that not a bit of an earlier than usual finish for the main stages? Trying to remember last year but I'm pretty sure a couple of years back Blur were on until about 4am.

Also, before everyone resigns themselves to these clashes, we've still to find out who's appearing at all the other small stages haven't we? Likes of the levis plaza or whatever they call it and all the wee island stages

Just doing my clashfinder now, the Thursday clashes are a bit annoying. Gonna miss all of Alex G, Oklou, Mac DeMarco and Skullcrusher (will be seeing Geese, caroline and Massive Attack - and will have to miss the end of Geese). Always likely to be the way somewhat with such a stacked line-up tho

Any recommendations for the Friday after The Cure? Only have Viagra Boys on my list to see so far. Skrillex isn't my thing but am open to most other types of music

Mine schedule after The Cure: JADE - PinkPantheress - Raya Diplomática - KI/KI

Is the Auditori difficult to get into? I’d quite like to watch Anna Von Hausswolff

Its a big space but depends on the Act. Should be fine for AVH

Does it work better crowd wise with Occident stage moved from the bottom of the hill ? When I was last there in 2022 there was some major crowd jam in that area - Sharon Van etten springs to mind.

Yeah it does.  2022 was a horror show for crowds anyway, but they moved that stage too close to the bottom of the hill and caused the problem of everyone trying to squeeze in and out on the steps at the side.  If they had just pushed the stage back a bit like it used to be it would be great.   I loved watching bands on the hill there, and the restaurant at the top just seems like a waste.  The Occident(Amazon) stage is good though.

can anyone remember how long it takes to walk from the main arena to occident? 15 mins between gorillaz and kneecap seems tight if you factor in a loo break!

Really does depends on where you're stood, but not far off 15 minutes really. I'd personally be ok missing the last couple of Cure songs given the length of their set.

EDIT: Oops, Gorillaz.... but same applies, heh

Getting out of Mordor usually takes more time than the walk. I'd advise you to move towards the back of the area for the final Gorillaz and then leave as soon as it ends

Depends on the lenght of the loo break, but to be safe, I advise you to take a loo break some other time.

Is the first primavera in some time where there have been no last minute cancellations or additions? I can't see anyone gone or new.

I saw just one addition that had never been part of the line-up so far:

"mobilegirl", at 11.45pm on Saturday

Probably a DJ, since they're playing on Plenitude stage.

The lineup for 8(!) additional stages to be announced shortly, including "the Backstage by Schwarzkopf, a new stage that will offer the festivalgoers a second chance to meet some of the artists on the line-up".

Great! More clashes on top of clashes!

not sure my aging legs can do Cameron Winter through to Yousuke Yukimatsu so might have to bin Cameron

You'll be sat for Cameron though! 😏

But yes, it's a long first day that might partially wipe out the next two....

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
