Primavera Sound 2026

Thursday being a working day for locals and hard to get off is probably the bigger problem

I agree that her day being Thursday is a factor, but she's still the only Primavera headliner that hasn't been announced for multiple European festivals, so I'd expect that to boost Thursday's sales.

And it's not unprecedented for a Thursday to be a first day sold out - Dua Lipa managed to do it in 2022.

Quality over quantity for this one...

Great recovery after two years with weaker line ups, not sure if related, but things go smoothly since the festival director stepped back. Not only line up wise, but also in communication.

Can't wait for June, two great festivals to look out for.

The big names of this lineup were likely already booked prior to the old festival director getting kicked to the curb.

Probably, although it feels weird that last year he was telling about not wanting to be a "headliner festival" and now have three great headliners. Anyway, not complaining at all!

Looks like Doja Cat isn't such a draw as any of Charli/Sabrina/Chappell, even though she hasn't been announced for any other European festival yet.

I love Doja's new album but it has struggled to hit commercially and her quite extensive arena tour is not selling fast, from what I've seen online. I'm not surprised to see that Thursday is the slowest day to sell.

What are your personal headliners for each day? For me, it gradually changes, but right now it looks like this:

Thursday - Oklou

Friday - The Cure

Saturday - Marina

Thursday: Geese

Friday: The Cure

Saturday: My Bloody Valentine

However, last summer I would have said Beach House were my headliner and in the end, I preferred to stay away from Mordor and enjoy a route with Stereolab, Zaho de Sagazan and TVOTR. Might happen again with MBV on such a packed day.

Texas is the NEW reason would be a great name for a cover's band of Texas is the reason 🤣

Unfortunately Mordor heavy for me this time but I can't wait for those 3 headliners. As much as I love the acts I named, I haven't got to see them live. Most years the headliners I like most are bands I've already seen, often more than once, so there's an extra layer of excitement for me this year.
