Blood Orange is also at La Ciutat and Cameron Winters plays as a stand-alone too.

I wouldn't take much from the dates on the website with 6 months in advance, because things get shuffled around. I would assume that Primavera probably had a good enough deal with Blood Orange and Geese for them to perform two shows in europe.

2hollis I don't know, I found the trap and lo-fi scene to be extremely volatile and capricious in a way. Might be pulling out, wouldn't shed a single tear if that was the case.

Must have been been an exceptionally good deal for Geese at the time given they're only on the fourth line of the bill and, arguably, have only blown up with the end of year lists / last three months or so.

How does that show that the Primavera date was removed (rather than just not on there in the first place)?

Wet Leg are not showing Primavera (or Coachella) on their website - so does that prove they have pulled out of both?

I see that the Governor Ball dates just announced are there and those of Primavera announced months ago are not... then in the end it certainly depends on the agreements reached with the festivals, I'm not saying that they are excluded

This is false information.

This. The dates were never there to begin with.
The 2hollis situation seems doubtful of course (this was clear from the moment he announced that Governors date), but that story about replacing dates on the web is a straight lie.

I wonder whether that means too small stage placements for both Geese and Winter's solo set.

CW's set simply has to be in the Auditori, it's not going to work on an outside stage.

Tori Amos did her piano thing at Rayban so think they could put him there or more likely on one of the smaller outdoor stages.

Even though Cameron Winter would be a perfect fit for Auditori, I think he'll get an early Cupra slot (19:00 ish) - similar to Christian Lee Hutson last year.

Hutson drowned in that Cupra slot so Winter will likely get Auditori. Those queues to enter gonna be good.

Yeah, I’ll be amazed if Cameron Winter is anywhere other than the Auditori. What’s the capacity, about 3k? I do think that’s a little small…could be a competitive “ticket”. Those suggesting he’ll play a small stage somewhere haven’t been paying attention.

What? "Small" just meant not Mordor which can still be massive!

It’s academic really as it’ll be almost certainly in the auditori (on the assumption they’re going to be using it across the three main days).

I absolutely wouldn't be so sure. He's a bigger act now and in recent years they prefer to put the bigger acts who are also suitable for auditori...outside.

Beth Gibbons, Anohni, and who else? Those first two ended up working really well outdoors.

Very different stage set ups I’d suggest to Cameron Winter. I went to his solo gig in Manchester a couple of months ago, it was him, a piano and the stage barely lit. Not saying it can’t be replicated outside but much better suited to a darkened auditori.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
