UsernameHere
5 hours ago, xxialac said: Yeah, reminds me of how they introduce 15 euro refundable tickets and some people bitch about that (Why should I pay extra!) but then if they made them free people would bitch about that too (Why do I pay for this festival and then all the Ciutat tickets get snapped up in a millisecond!). The organisation is very imperfect but for some things I can see their thinking and I'm very glad they learned from the disaster queues of 2022 for Ciutat. Often it's a case of finding the 'least bad' option. This was the main example I had in mind actually! I never understand the outrage at this. People also get pissed off that they can't attend a gig that they didn't even know existed when they bought the tickets. I get being disappointed by some of these things, don't get me wrong, same as being disappointed by 2 artists you like clashing. But a lot of people genuinely act like they've been robbed. Bizarre. frankburns
BenjoDiMeo
Also, the people complaining (mostly, I assume, people who attend for the first time) are missing what is for me a precious point: the festival being a bit messy is part of the fun and what makes it special. There is a learning curve. First-time goers will never bother check the website or socials, they will miss the sale for the extra gigs, they will learn about the Opening Day just 24 hours before show time. But if you're willing to engage a bit and pay attention, then you'll get the rewards (well, most of them). But that makes for a much more interesting festival than another one with no surprises, no bonuses, nothing extra, just a fixed line-up releasing 6 months prior and nothing added. This worked for me even when reserving Blood Orange (or Kneecap last year). And maybe a little prayer beforehand so that there aren't any technical glitches. I refreshed the app the second the tickets were supposed to be on sale and nothing 😞 Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow, two more chances! Eugenio
Regarding Auditori and its policy about food and drink, can I enter inside simply with an empty water bottle without cap?

Thinking about it, it might not be fine, since you could fill it up in the restrooms inside. I'm not sure.

pipan
Levi's Plaza and 501 Club lineups are now available. Does anyone have any tips for interesting names on the small stages (regardless the clashes)? Edited May 29 by pipan

The Geese tickets were available for around 3-4 minutes in the general sale, so if you were reasonably organised, I think you would have been ok. Should clarify that I was referring to the Fever public general sale at 12:00 CET.
Quacky Mouse
question about the bars situation - last time i went was 2023 and it was easy as pie getting drinks from the bars. i've heard reports that the situation is worse than that now in recent years? Nah, it's fine. Just was bad in 2022. Trick is to be strategic and find the ones with no queue of which there are many. My theory is there were more general fever tickets available than other batches (so they'd make more money off paying fans) as these seemed a LOT easier to get. Let's say this is true and they sold an extra 200 allocation compared to normal. That only generates 7k euros and moreoever also has to be shared (previously was all of it!) with the venue. And the budget for Primavera is more than 10million so it would be loose change really...

Most of the people who wanted to go to Ciutat gigs just don't want to pay any extra non-refundable money, the festival itself is pretty expensive. For me personally it's the first time I bought Ciutat tickets.
Kempleton Posted Friday at 19:53 Share Posted Friday at 19:53 So, realistically, when would I need to start queuing in order to get in for the Avalanches DJ set?
SpeedyEnrico Posted Friday at 20:38 Share Posted Friday at 20:38 First post to this forum after reading along for quite a while. Will be the 3rd time for 'my group' that we travel to Primavera. We have one guy in the group that forgot to buy a ticket for the opening day. Seems the waiting list option is not available for this event in AT (as it is non-refundable). I was wondering if anyone has any idea how we can get our hands on an extra ticket?? I do not believe that in any of the prior years the opening day was sold out so we've also no experience if any tickets will be made available at location........... Only the opening day requires some patience as only the bars in the proximity of the Amazon stage (now Occident) are open. I never understood that, i am sure they would make much more money if they open a few more (for example the bars next to Cupra)

Either way would there be someone here with an extra ticket we would gladly take it over!!
