The million dollar question I guess, how long does this last for?..

Absolutely. Noels not going to be in it for the long haul. They are taking 26 out after a big 25 tour, next years tour isn't going to be small and Noel won't drag this on.

UK with Etihad featuring heavy, Glastonbury, Europe and wherever else they plan and I reckon that's it done.

Rumours that Taylor Swift is arriving in the U.K. soon. Be nice if she popped  into the farm for a cup of tea and a chat with Emily about that headline spot she owes us. 😊😉

And I’ll join @NorthernSoul52 in his Springsteen dream !!

It would not. Tickets are bad enough as it is without that fanbase turning up on See Tickets

A friend of mine who is deep into Swifts cult -   Literally said if Tayor Swift was headlining she would go for tickets - but would not want to camp so would just drive in and out to see Taylor -   The Glastonbury ticket price alone is no deterrent and im sure she is not alone, some of  her fans would bleed for her.  - and Im actually starting to wonder if it now it would be a problematic booking for the festival for other reasons.

Kind of feel the festival needs to let Taylor Swift madness dies down and revisit in a decade or two before booking.

So that’s more likely a legend spot in the 2050s. !😊😊😉

or an ultra secret Avalon set. More secret that anything that’s ever been secret before, so incredibly secret that no one actually knows until it’s over.. 😊😊

They don't announce it till after tix are sold and even the biggest nutjobs aren't going to buy tickets on a rumour.

I feel like they absolutely would buy tickets on a rumour I heard they were buying Liverpool FC memberships on the rumour that she would play there for the last tour before it was announced. -  all it would take is a few click bait articles to claim she was going to headline and I recon you add thousands of Swifties to ticket day chaos .

Honestly, can't see it. Think it's the sort of thing where people would be like 'If Taylor plays I'll defo go' not realising it sells out in November before announcements are made.

Liverpool FC membership is 10 quid a season as far as I can see, Glasto is a 400 quid camping fest which in reality costs a grand or so.

£400 to see Taylor Swift is a bargain compared to resale prices for the eras tour (well similar maybe? not sure). So just going for the day if you don't want to do the festival makes sense.

I reckon a lot would glamp anyway or decide to do the whole weekend anyway - due to the once in a lifetime getting a ticket factor and the fact there will likely be other stuff they would like to see on other days.

You also would be so easily able to get barrier, or at least be super close - without coughing up for VVVIP Golden Circle Platinum tickets.

If they can get her they should strike, 100%. Just make sure it doesn't leak - resale will be brutal though!!

It's not 400 pounds to see Taylor Swift though. In this context it's registering for tickets, securing tickets on the basis of a newspaper rumour 4 months before a lineup is announced. Obviously if it was a normal fest which didn't sell out people would buy tix to see someone they like but not Glasto.

Foos on Graham Norton suggesting they’ll be back in the UK next year, a year & a half specifically so very much in the frame. A band that have a good relationship with the fest & doubt either party turns it down

I mean how obvious is it if it wasn't already. Why would anyone think Foos wouldn't be in the UK next year lol, they had s touring gap and they are only doing Liverpool. A year and a half also points to euro festivals, one of which they are almost certain to attend again, especially with a more grungy sound and one they need to make up for.

I've said before I'll be shocked if they don't have Foos and Oasis. If Oasis do actually say no then there is your Fender/Fontaines gap. People say about they only played a few years ago but it was 11 songs for an hour or whatever, Glastonbury is very famed for history wise as well as having secret acts that return. Including covid years it would be 7/8 years, minus those it is still 6. It's rare if a band like a festival and still do make a point about festivals that they would leave it out for 9/10 years which would be the cas if it wasn't on this album. Foos aren't a band the festival would go and get on a 3rd ywar of touring and it's unlikely they'll be doing that anyway.

    • Considering how popular of a booking Scooter have been I think they'd go down well
    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
    • Did you camp or go for a hotel? I looked into it briefly and seems easy enough to get back to Nuremberg.
