No drop off/pick up facilities at Heaton park?

Can anyone recommend anywhere quite close?

Prestwich town centre isn't too far and doesn't get too busy during Parklife. Maybe a 20 min walk?

Yeah there's nowhere for them to do it really. Could also just do city centre and get the tram there and back, not ideal as it takes longer but it'd do the job

Is anyone going to Cardiff with a ticket they bought through Ticketmaster official resale?

If so does the option to transfer it come up when the tickets go live? I know you can't resell through TM with them but I have a spare for Manchester and wondering if I can sell on Twickets and transfer it that way.

I noticed that. I honestly think it's good, no weather worries, the atmosphere and sound stays in, the lights are more impactful from the start of the show.

Totally agree … I saw Springsteen there last year with the roof closed and it was amazing.  I’m going to the first night at Heaton Park and it’s either going to be the best gig ever or a complete nightmare 😂

Actually is front standing the massive dark grey bit? And that barrier looking thing actually just the bit between the stage and crowd?

I think this is correct, so front standing is basically 45% of the arena, also with the angle of the stage looks like a fair few people in general admission are going to have a truly rubbish view.

Yes I think you are right. In which case it looks to be a fair size. Bit sh*t for those stuck in general.

Yes the transfer option is there for my Cardiff resale ones

If the map is accurate, there's also two little slithers of general admission either side of front standing - they are going to be crush central.

And those at the back left won't even see the stage

As I read that, it means the main entrance is shut? From Middleton Road? That's annoying.

I only live about 3 miles away, but in the Heywood, so having to come out on Prestwich end is a massive faff

It looks every bit like the mess we expected when the front standing bit got announced

Wow, they are having the roof closed!

Something they did when Taylor Swift was there last year but did not do when I saw Foo Fighters a few weeks later.

In fairness Foos was on a swelteringly hot day so I think the roof closure may've just made it a bit stuffy if they did. Or maybe that's just my mental delirium that defined that show given I'd been stuck in horrific traffic on my way to Wales.

Thought I'd have a look on Twickets out of curiosity and there were more tickets to their American shows on there than their UK ones.

Clearly people aren't willing to offload. Either that or if they are they'd go to Viagogo for about 8 times face.

Some popping up here and there - but you have to fast on the button to get one!

They’re going to be in the conversation until it is either confirmed or ruled out. The festival would no doubt love to book them, but I think it’s unlikely. This tour has been the biggest, most soulless cash grab in history, and I say that as a big fan of theirs. The only reason they would play the festival is for the love of it and that seems to be missing these days. I suppose whether or not they continue to tour through 2026 will be a big indicator

Yeah 2026 is key. Etihad has been thrown around, as has the likes of Spain and Italy (I did find it slightly odd that the rest of Europe didn't get a look in, if I'm honest). Obviously Knebworth gets thrown around, remains to be seen if there's any substance to that (or any of that 2026 stuff I've just put).

My gut feeling is that there may be a verbal agreement for some of the above, but they'll be waiting to see how this year pans out first - it's not like stuff needs to go on sale too far in advance.

2026 happens and then you've got to think they'll be in the running.

I imagine it's all under wraps but I'll do some digging next weekend.
