There are a few rumours regarding Villa needing Champs league every year based on their spending and FFP/PSR with a firesale needed if they don't qualify.

Impressive they have built that squad so quickly, you forget players like Coutinho are still on the wage bill though out on loan at a league that I cant imagine are picking up much of it.

I'd be surprised if true, especially as they are on a negative of 40 million euros last 12 months.

Arne Slot became the first manager to win the English Premier League in his first season with a club not being owned by an oligarch or a nation state. 😁

Wasn't Ranieri first season? Appointed July 2015 won 2015/2016.

To be fair, Liverpool fans are not very clever.

Even there own managers have done it, Daglish for example.

It wasn't his debut season in the EPL, so only Mourinho, Ancelotti, Conte and Pellegrini accomplished this achievement.

This is getting ridiculous.

It’s 20 all re top division titles. Simple as that

Im just agreeing with the Liverpool fan. 😃

He is just using it to fit a badly thought out post.

I agree with you though.

It does feel like a very specific set of circumstances. Oligarch is also doing alot of heavy lifting, Abramovich isn't many times richer than Werner and Henry, I think its less than 20%.

Totally understand.

Liverpool now with 2 premier league titles, united still on 13.

Im happy now. 😃

United have won the Premier League 0 times because the competition had other names too back then:

92 - 93:  FA PREMIER LEAGUE.
93 - 01:  FA CARLING PREMIERSHIP.
01 - 04:  FA BARCLAYCARD PREMIERSHIP.
04 - 07:  FA BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE.
07 - 16:  BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE.
16 - present:     PREMIER LEAGUE.

    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
    • Potentially rogue shout here but could see Rebecca Black in the running for a mid-afternoon spot. I know most people still remember her for Friday but lately she’s been putting out a lot of fun pop bangers, think this could be a very fun booking!
    • FFS why when there are pull outs does it always include so many of the names I had as must sees!
    • This is a pretty petulant stance.   I oppose him headlining because I love coming to Slam Dunk and he would be a very big reason why I wouldn't come. That doesn't mean they can't choose to do so, they obviously can, I would just stop coming to that version of Slam Dunk.   Another name that I'll throw out there as name I'd love is Biffy Clyro.
    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
