I think I might be in the minority here but I rarely go in the Convoy Cabaret - it all seems a bit shouty/weird for me.  But still stick my nose in every so often just in case!

 

Edited to add - Having said that, Culture Shock immediately sound good!

I go to Cabaret Convoy's little Naughty Corner festival and after some site changes over the years it's now settled down at the Arctangent site in Cheddar and is fab.

 

Culture Shock are always great, in fact all of d*ck Lucas' three bands are brilliant and it's amazing that he's still going and full of beans - he's an anarcho-punk national treasure.

 

VERY pleased that Anthrax are playing as they don't get out much these days - their last album was a superb. I guess they're too busy with their Grow Your Own punk label - their recent Apostles package was beautifully put together.

 

P.A.I.N will be a great knees up. Sporadics are a good sing along.

 

I'm chuffed with this line up drop. And loving the whole advent calendar thing.

It's the closer on their Serfs Out album. The whole album was a genius bit of satire on the state of the nation post Brexit and a decade of austerity from the tories. Very poignant.

Not sure myself. Given that he's playing Bramall Lane the same weekend, he'd seem out of reach except as a headliner and that doesn't feel right to me.

@incident Not seen him myself, but he's headlined B'Daze (and others), so I know he's up to the job. Of course, all my mates who've convinced themselves that the final headliner are Pixies will be less than pleased...🤣

I was seeing more of a reference to Rotterdam than Perfect 10, but yeah. could be.

 

Not saying he couldn't do it, but playing a hometown Stadium show the same weekend I'd expect his focus to be there.

Ah yeah, Rotterdam definitely makes more sense, if indeed is is him... (point taken about the home show).

Well pleased with the Paul Heaton announcement. Only seen the fella live once before and had a great time. Could be the first time in my life that I watch every main stage headliner at a festival this.
