Anyone else get assimilated into The Cult of Orange?  I didn't myself but my missus did and it was funny af.

If you missed them, they were all dressed in orange and were wandering round looking for people wearing orange to force them to join the cult.  Once you had been initiated, you were given an orange pompom to show cult membership.  When they saw a cult member walk past they were shouting "Show us your pompom" at them.  Very funny.

My 4 year old grandson was last year, he was dressed in an orange spacesuit, and they proclaimed him their leader, which he loved. He didn't come us with this year, but when we got back, he asked  'were my Orange gang there'. A very friendly bunch

Had a great time. Very Chilled weekend.

£6 on cask at main bars. £5+ a can at the Iris Brewery bar - nice beer.

Bands: Iggy Pop (obviously), Dreadzone, Neds, Leftfield, Headsticks, Meffs, PSB, Sisters, Shonen Knife (& Osaka Ramones), Ash, Nadine Shah, Some Convoy bands, and others.

Thankfully better weather than last year.

Lots of lovely people.

See you next year.

  • 2 months later...

So BT have FINALLY announced ticket day...5th September.

Pretty grumpy about them delaying ticket day this year - the sale date clashes with Convoy Cabaret's festival where there was naff all phone reception last year.

Don't sell out of early bird tix until I get back okay?!

It's normally September, last year was the exception.

See you at NC 😁

Excellent, the more the merrier! Was just at the farm for Arctangent and can't wait to be back with the convoy crew in a few weeks.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
    • yeah, but I enjoy moaning about them too much so whatever I guess.   and besides... a few years from now there will be absolutely nothing on TV except for Coben based shows so I'd best get used to it...   🙂        (for anyone who has ever read a Coben book - are the books as utterly sh*t as the tv shows???)
    • Those in the Glastonbury ‘Tour’ thread buying tickets noticed it when tickets first went on sale.   And if you look at the blocks still on sale here https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1489025/muse-tickets?skin=theo2 blocks 410-414 definitely stand out as the only seating areas without tickets available, so appears that they still haven’t gone on sale.
