That’s an amazing one 🙂

So my 4am Sunday return... that isn't happening.

How foolproof is the "jump on any coach to Bham" thing I keep reading on here? This is my first ever coach trip to GF in 7!

Never done a return … but it seems to be . Early arrivals definately seem to get early departures

You won't be a priority (they board those that have the correct ticket in order). But coaches are usually a bit out of whack (late) and when there are spare seats they seem to just fill them.

I wouldn't be rolling down there late afternoon expecting to get a seat.

I'm thinking more like 7/8am... rather than my designated 4am.... 👀

Am I running a massive risk of not being able to get one?

I don't think anyone could guarantee this for you but I'd say you'd be fine.

Just don't necessarily expect there to be departures when you want. They aren't every hour to every departure. They seem to do them in batches. But - #ThereIsNoPattern etc. Will help if you're not a big group - fill a spare seat or two etc.

I suppose the whole thing works though if enough of us do get the coach we're booked on. There's a lot of people to get on and off site...

6:45am out, 4:30am return back to brighton on the Monday

Anyone know how strict they are on the return leg if we turn up later trying to get on a later coach?

Alternatively if anyone wants to swap 2 return spots on the 4:30 to brighton for a later one let me know!

I got exactly the same. That 4.30am return is a bit of a killer.

Pm 😞

Do you know anyone working or in the campervan fields that could take your tents in earlier on Weds for you so you get where you wanted to camp?

Difficulty is we camp gate A side near jp  and I’d not want to  ask anyone to do that . Will figure something somehow . 3 people 3 tents all on that bus

6am Monday return, brutal.

Surely the best?

Pack up Sunday morning (ish), bags in the lock ups (San Remo are less busy than Gate A) and then power on through the night. (Remember, it's a marathon not a sprint.) You then pass out on the coach and, as if by magic, you're at your destination in what feels like 10 minutes.
