That post talks about them headlining Glastonbury again.

It's more the thread. There is a poster bjornulf. He's the man behind the forum. He's in the know and always gives solid info. There will be a tour in UK/Europe next year. Don't expect any good solid info before the end of the year.

Scissor Sisters teasing a reunion, would be a great 3rd down Pyramid after legend

I know they subbed Muse in 2010, but I know Ana loves Glastonbury and I think they'd be happy to launch things there, given the UK seemed to be their strongest market in their heyday.

Mentioned as much in the WH thread but I seem to have misjudged the enthusiasm for this news*, which suggests it needs to be a on a bigger stage.

*Probably because they seemed to split largely due to public indifference.

It is more enthusiastic than I thought. Third down main seems to be a very good place for them, especially moving on from the legend. Keeps the party going, so to speak.

Blue are practically begging to be another nostalgia-bait act who end up on West Holts having been underestimated by the bookers. Surprised it hasn’t already happened.

I'm not.  The nostalgia acts that they've had on WH recently have been r'n'b acts with decent critical reputations.

Are Sugababes an rnb act? I get what you’re saying though & I definitely don’t see Blue as a West Holts act. What’s the world coming too, how are we discussing Blue and B*witched!?

I mean there's a grey area where rnb shades into pop.  The 'babes definitely a lot more 'street' than their contemporaries tho.

Peerless string of singles. In its own way Freak Like Me was a bit of a game-changer.

I did say half in jest, I must admit - a lot of people I know say they were "pop perfection" next to their girl group peers of the period. (Which I guess means Girls Aloud?)

    • Cool, if potentially completely exhausting, idea.
    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.
