Surely due a wet one?

Never been to a wet glasto, but I had a blast at (other) festivals in the mud this year, so I'm not worried. Imagine the biggest issue is just allowing extra time to get anywhere. (And minimising how many times you fall on your arse / mastering not spilling a drop when slipping over.)

I mean the Glastonbury mud is something else …. That said it won’t matter and it’ll be dry

Rather a wet one than the heat of some days this year to be honest... Sorry, but it was unbearable at times.

Ideally 20c and dry but overcast, is that being too picky?

Edit: Haha Snap @clasher

😂

I think we should commence with the classic "20 and overcast" dance right away for maximum effect.

Having endured 2 of the wettest and some grim ones, you DO NOT "rather a wet one"

I hope it rains none stop, but only on your tent and wherever you're stood... 🤣🤣🤣

Come on, be honest, you don't 'WANT' the unbearable heat we've had at times the last 2 years?

20c and overcast, 20c and overcast, 20c and overcast....

20c and overcast, 20c and overcast, 20c and overcast....

It rained twice on me last year, once setting up my tent (bloody hard actually) and then once on Sunday afternoon during Fatboy, I felt a drop on my left forearm.

This is unacceptable !!

2010 All over again !!! Wooohoo

Latitude was a bog this year. But...got through it!

It does kind of feel like we're due a wet one at some point...😬 I can't imagine anything other than sunshine again though. Haven't been to a wet glasto yet so I'll bring the sunshine again. Can't wait for January sales to start stocking up on sunny outfits ☀️

No, not a spot!

Edited to add: To be fair though, the weather in Cumbria is something else... County has it's own climate separate from the rest of England.

In the 10 or so years I've lived here I've only seen it as bad as this a couple of times. The higher land and passes get hammered regularly obviously but Ambleside usually misses the worst of it. Seems like even the north Lakes barely got anything. The contrast between yesterday and today is mad. Spent all day on the fells yesterday in stunning clear blue skies.
